Excellent compilation. A couple of observations: 1. No one takes the ball as early as Federer. 2. Alcaraz's drop shots are better than Djokovic's.

This is probably the first thing I noticed about Alcaraz, right from his first ATP match. Ever since his constant rise from 2021 onwards, I noticed he has many traits in his game from all Big 3 legends. The fact that he has 4 GS won at 21 and managed to win a GS on each surface at this age is a testament to hia game being auited for all surfaces. He is a never before seen hybrid and I believe he has the best chance of aproaching or getting to the Big 3 numbers. The next gen are transitional players. Good players but not taking the game to the next level. On the other hand, Alcaraz is a generational player, just like Roger was. One that appears every 20-30 years or so, and revolutionizes the game completely. That is why he stands out so much from the rest of the field. It's no coincidence he won his first GS the year Roger retired, just as Roger won his first GS the year Sampras retired, for example. The passing of the invisible batton between tennis legends is smooth and clear. His rivalry with Sinner is a beautiful thing to watch and they will rule tennis for the next 15 years or so. At the beginning of the year I was sure both will take all 4 GS. Both will dominate the slams next year as well and possibly all through the next 10 years at least.

@@andreim.5324great top 5. Roger is the greatest in my eyes as well. It pains me so much about the fact that he should have at least won 4 more slams. US Open 2009+ Wimbledon 2019 were the bare minimum. And I don’t know if you agree with me on that but he should have won the French open 2011 (had he won the first set I think he get it) and perhaps I think the Us 2011 was there for the taking aswell. Given his unrelenting aggression. Carlos is far more dynamic and diverse than Novak could ever be. The sliding and balance are very equal already. Carlos uses the dropshot lob combo with much more consistency than Novak ever did. Both Roger and Carlos were/are the most aggressive players i have ever seen. Both explode into their shots from seemingly nowhere and both are the best volleyers since Edberg and Sampras. Roger had a more consistent serve though there is improvement from Carlos. In the hustle department combined with mental toughness, i still give the edge to Rafa because Carlos has a tougher time recovering from bad losses, but as Carlos continues to show, he is a very quick study and will undoubtedly improve there as well.

I believe that there will never be a player similar to Federer in terms of talent, genius, and inventing shots that were not known in tennis before, in addition to his agility, the way he moves, and the effort saving. Federer did not imitate anyone's style in the game, while Alcaraz tries to imitate Federer's style, as Alcaraz himself stated. Alcaraz is stilted in his playing style because he is trying to imitate Federer, in addition to Alcaraz making a great effort.
