People say that it's a waste of time and energy but you forget that these guys play practice matches on the courts or even participate in prior tournaments before the Australian Open. These exhibitions matches serve as a way to get the practice reps in while getting the feel of the court. I dont think it's a waste of time and energy at all.

Players get paid and the match gives a certain amount to charity organization.

Alcaraz is looking F-I-T. He was before, but even more lean and mean now. They better watch out!

Great warm up match. Alcaraz is moving like the Gods. I am sure his service will improve by the time we hit the first week. Good stuff.

My only opportunity to be able to afford to attend a champions match. Great to see them trying out different styles/techniques. CA seemed to be taking this pre tournament warm up pretty seriously.

Are the players being paid extra for all these exhibition matches prior to the tourney starting ? It seems like a lot …
@crazyinthepop54228 сағат бұрын
yes, of course they are - it would be baked into their fees to attend and do social media etc etc

Why so many exhibitions before the actual tournament?

It’s more of a practice than an exhibition, just for the people to watch. Do you think they’d be lying on the beach in the meantime instead of playing?

Let them play, stop interviewing them during the match with silly questions. It's annoying.

It's an exhibition and charity match. No points are awarded and players are being payed for playing.

That's one of the special features of exhibition matches...

I mean, if they weren’t playing these exhibitions, they be playing practice matches anyway.

Waste of time and energy for the players.
@amaricampbell69968 сағат бұрын
I mean it’s not like they are going all out here and you already participate in practice sets and matches before the tournament as it stands. They are just being paid to do this which is a nice bonus for something they already would be doing.
@danielcraig23438 сағат бұрын
Plus it gives fans that may not be able to afford the real matches, a chance to see Carlos.
@bhaskarwarmilind3 сағат бұрын
Carlos’s serve still looks weak and average. Top players can easily break his serve and gain advantage in matches.
