Alcaraz's intuition, predictive ability, and raw speed are a wonder to watch. His movement to the net are dynamic and explosive, and his outright volleying skill is beyond his years. I'm seeing some of the same qualities in Sinner. The future is bright and exciting for men's tennis.

@@raghumanda2tanush496 raw talent and ability don't really have much to do with winning a slam. for some people, winning a slam is more mental or about endurance over two weeks. hewitt and safin did not have as much raw talent as the people around them yet won slams. medvedev is not as naturally talented as many of the players on tour right now yet has a slam. you are misinterpreting the original comment.

Medvedev wouldn’t choose to lose, but he said at USO he needed to play 110% to beat Alcaraz. He did and then lost to Djokovic at final. At today’s match, he didn’t need to stretch his limit to secure a win. Whereas Alcaraz can’t afford to be eliminated from the best four of men’s tennis. Even if Medvedev played at his 120%, he could still lose to Alcaraz today, he didn’t have a motivation to dig so deep

You are delusional idiot. Carlos Alcaraz won this match only because of umpire being stupid idiot who doesn't understand how official tennis rules works. This braindead chair umpire only for Alcaraz called all the shots as ins and only for Medvedev called all the shots as outs. This stupid idiot and cretin of the umpire unevenly called the lines and unevenly applied the rules. This umpire clearly cheated and favored Alcaraz over Medvedev just because Alcaraz is way younger and less experienced in those kind of tournaments than Medvedev is. This umpire must be fired and imprisoned for being unfair idiot.

That's how you beat the ultra-defensive Medvedev. Meddy's percentage shots and his long-reach means Rublev's and Averev's one-dimensional approach aren't gonna work. Frankly, I'm quite impressed with Alacaraz's display. Maybe Meddy's style forced him to produce his A-attacking game.
