Finally puts it all together...wow, it took him a while to truly develop consistent power, the speed has always been there, the glove has always been spectacular...but now he puts those two tools together with 25 home run power? ...not to mention a career high .284 average...a mark i dont expect him to reach again in 2014, but still impressive...career year for Gomez. :)

A lot of it has to do with Ron Roenicke letting him be a free swinging power hitter instead of trying to force him to be a leadoff guy the way the Twins did. Roenicke is the perfect manager for Gomez.

(Watched it on tv) As soon as Votto hit that ball, everyone fell silent as the ball seemed to slowly fly through the air. Nobody said anything as we held our breath and watched Gomez eye up the ball. We knew it was going to be close, but to see Gomez jump up and come down with it still gives me chills. The best part was watching Votto on the TV call to an ump to make sure he had the ball. I couldn’t stand that guy, which made it so much better. I wish I could have been there. You experienced one of the best endings and crowd pops of that Brewer era. I miss those years.

Did you show all of Gomez's homers in 2013? He hit about 25 homers this year
@MLBHighlights201211 жыл бұрын
No I showed probably about 10 of them. On my videos I try to show about 25-30 clips of the player and keep the video from 5 and a half minutes to 6 minutes, and I try to balance out the defense as well as offense.

i don't really care for him...i mean that i don't care about him. he's too confident for his talent level right now, and i think he should work on having his talents at a higher level and his showmanship (not his cockiness, the braves were stupid to let him get under their skin so much) at a lower level. kind of like, "okay, i just got a big hit or robbed you on that play, let's see what you can do."

I like every team, and what I mean by he still sucks is the personality of this game. His cockiness is why only little likes him.

IDGAFWTFMNI Wow. What a horse you rode in on. "He looked at his homerun, no respect." Everyone does it, Gomez is just honest about it.
