After seeing him on Bobby Lee's podcast, he's still definitely denying a lot, but did acknowledge the Cosby joke and said he talked to Cosby (before all the Cosby allegations and prison time) and hashed things out with him. His side of the story when it comes to the Ari joke is quite interesting because according to him, Ari didn't accuse him of stealing his joke until after Mencia booted him off of his Mind of Mencia show because Ari beat the crap out of Bobby, which Bobby did confirm said ass kicking and Ari's subsequent kicking off of the show. He also explained how he'd be happy to sit down with any comedian and talk it out and compare things since he has recordings of all his performances and if they find that the other comedian did the joke first, then he'd apologize and try to make it right. And a very good point was brought up by Bobby's then girlfriend that there are comedians that have done much worse than theft and have been welcomed back with open arms after a period of time and that is very true. I think it's been far too long to shun anybody for something like this. He still has to reach that middle ground, which I feel like he's very close, but his request of wanting to be able to apologize directly to any comedian that feels he stole from them is a fair request but requires the other comedians to be able to forgive. He apologized to the fans for having this image of him, which he knows he's helped contribute to, but the apology isn't complete without the closure of being able to talk with the other comedians and hash things out and really determine who did what first. And I agree with him. I think it's definitely time.
