@@dariusp422 his height would help him a lot... unlike hearns, he had steady legs. he also moved laterally very well. he could slide in the pocket very well w/ his feet. he was a big soccer player as a kid & it shows. he knew how to space & keep a fighter off. hagler would have a hard time getting in to him & he would pay a price w/ monzon's accuracy and power. his lungs, even w/ the smoke were on par w/ hagler. it would be a great fight to watch but monzon was much more contained then hearns. he would have the edge.

@@kelvinkloud height and reach never stopped hagler he had the strength the endurance and will power and heart to go toe to toe so this is nothing new to him he’s fought mugabi as well hagler had a chin and was a pressure fighter with a popping jab and has never been knocked down he stood toe to toe with Roberto Duran as well and wasn’t hurt in that fight neither it was a 12 round fight btw

@@dariusp422 ... I know hagler had a lot of virtues. but hearns did get to him & hurt & backed him up. it was only after he broke his hand in the latter part of the 1st rd that the tide turned. I think under 5 rds hearns wins that fight. if it goes into 6th, hags grinds him down. tommy's legs werent good. monzon was different. he stayed just outside your range, but used his length to still get into you. his feet moved very well in a box, like a pocket passer like dan marino who knows how to slide and feel the box. cummulatively he hit harder then hearns b/c his accuracy was better. mugambi didnt have monzon's skills. it would be close, I grant you, but prime monzon grinds him down.

@@kelvinkloud nah he wouldn’t knock hagler down and no he was never hurt in the hearns fight he shook off the punches when he went to the corner and when he got out of the corner he kept fighting and as far as monzon being more accurate then hearns idk about that because his right hand was pretty much always accurate and monzon has never dealt with anybody like hagler who isn’t afraid of him and isn’t scared to go to war with him and has a good chin and can hit hard and has good stamina as well he might win on points but as knocking hagler down I don’t think so..
