yes, he put his soul into those phrases he is expressing. Kids nowadays tend to show off speed at the expense of soul. Speed does not make a guitarist a Master. It is the soul the kid infuses into his playing that makes him unique at such a very young age. Where does he get all those experiences at such a young age to play with his heart & soul? There’s other young kids that play good, maybe almost as good technically, but they’re flat compared to Taj. He just blows me away, then again, SRV’s soul had to go somewhere. I remember when we asked if he'd do some Santana. If you are the same person, we both asked him to do Samba Pa Ti. Yeah, it blew my mind that a month or so he is playing with the man himself.

If Santana wasn't letting this kid shine, then this kid is amazing, if Santana was letting him shine, then game recognized game and this kid is amazing. Either way WOW!

What an amazing pairing, I wasn't a big Santana fan when I was younger, simply because I hadn't heard much other than a couple songs. A friend got us tickets to go see him ( My Birthday gift a few years later), hell there was 3 types of drum sets. When I left that concert I had a very deep respect for that man, he's F$&King brilliant!! He's far under-rated, as holy, that man can play a guitar! Which he had a few he played that night, no bells no lasers, straight up just the music, no big screens, raw and beautiful!!

Yes, that was the best yet! Just to hear the two of you like that was as it should be, just natural and organic. Wished I could have to been there to see that.

Hang on with both hand Step back Carlos knows how.. .turn that energy into something beautiful. As Carlos steps off. His turn to listen. recognize a great artist by how their work makes others feel.... Art at its... core.... should make you feel something.

This is what we need right now. A 10 year old kid who has the ability of a 60 year old professional. Taj is INSANE! Id love to see him jam with Derek Trucks.

CArlos is not 60, he is 75 yo, he already recycled into a KID that is why they both blend so well seamlessly like having an amicable conversation. BRAVO !!!!
