Greg Rollie is so underrated and goes unnoticed. He’s the voice of this song and it’s amazing to see him up there with Santana Again. He’s also the voice to some of the greatest Journey songs where Steve Perry only echos to but his name always goes unknown.

Saw Santana perform in the Capitol theatre in Cardiff in the seventies, absolutely amazing live band. They were happy days, good time to be young. Still have their Abraxas album.

To hear original artist helping Carlos thru this tune seemed different then when I first, second, third and etc time I've heard it since its creation back in the 70s or so. Times have changed - drastically but I'm still around- lol. Since 1950, darn I'm get up in age 73+. Wow😮

The first time I heard Santana I was 19 and I did not understand his music but I liked it; I knew the music that this musician was playing would be with me all my life. I cannot compare any guitarist to Hendrix; however,...Santana's music will live on as long as humans are on this earth.

Just read your comment about Carlos, and I tend to disagree with you about the part that nobody else comes close to his guitar 🎸 playing today. How about Joe Bonamassa, Clapton, Derek Trucks, Warren Haynes - just to name some? Personally I think they’re just as great, if not better, today than they were years ago!

I love that Neal Schon holds back on his first solo on this song. Normally he just shoots every machine gun shot he can fire in one instrumental, and then you get bored of it really quick, especially on the Journey stuff. But that one was very tasteful.
