His love for music was unmatched and boy oh boy did he love Santana. I cant believe that last year I got to take my family to see Santana live in concert. I went to see Carlos, Ndugu Chancellor, Jose "Chepito" Areas, Tom Coster, Dave Brown and Leon Patillo in concert at Madison College in October of 1975 and I watched Carlos' fingers as he played this song. It was a pleasure to hear some of the musicians that he recorded the original version with. The stage was surrounded in flowers and orange , red and yellow light. My sister, brother and several cousins were there. That night sealed the deal. I had to play guitar forever.
