this is why I am a proponent of having buff remaining through swapping. quick swap is a very high skill ceiling tech and should be rewarded, not punish. let the high skill player access to stronger team comp and tactic will separate this game from the like of genshin. as of now, the game is to favor towards regular rotation.

I don't like Zhezhi so I'm still thinking about pulling for her. But I love Carlotta gameplay so I want to have the best for her. I also love changli gameplay, so would you say that learning how to quickswap with changli-carlotta would equal the same dmg as of running zhezhi-carlotta?

There's a guy named VoidEnigma who showcased Carlotta x Changli being better than zhezhi because the damage output is consistent between the quick swap. Zhezhi will help you reach higher number for Carlotta liberation but zhezhi herself doesn't do enough damage to keep up compared to Changli. Carlotta x Sanhua isn't a bad choice if you don't have either 5 stars.

I use Carlotta with Lumi for hypercarry and she clears fine even with both on just okay builds. I've also tried both Changli and Jinhsi in quickswap with her (although I'm not as good as OP lol) and both cleared excellently and were super fun. I had the same dilemma until I tried these teams; don't pull for characters you don't like!

Only the character that you swap off of goes on cooldown, so you can just swap to Changli, use her E and then swap to Shorekeeper pretty much as fast as you can press the buttons.
