It is always weird when there's a set up where something is vibrating quickly, but my quality is not set to 60fps. So Carl reacts to the absurdity, but I'm just looking at a stationary launcher. It always takes me a moment to realize what is going on.

As someone who plays it every few years, I'd say that Symphony of the Night holds up pretty well. If you'd like a more modern version, Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is the spiritual successor with a lot of really clever ideas woven into the gameplay.

During the p balloon level you kept taking your hand off the controller to touch your eye, which at first had me a little tense because it's a very tense level, but then thought about it for a moment and got way way more tense because that's a terrible habit for a guy works in a biolab have to have.

Hey Carl. I've been having a bit of a rough time lately with some life shit and anxiety. I started on some meds that are (hopefully) temporarily making the anxiety worse, and waiting for them to kick in. Your videos have been a lifeline in keeping my mind off things and making me laugh. A trillion tons of thank you for years and years of entertainment!

If you're on an SSRI anti depressant then the increased anxiety should only be a temporary side effect, it lasted about a couple of weeks when I was on them. I also had a bout of insomnia and a bad stomach, both of which lasted for about a week. Keep in touch with your Dr and if you're advised to increase your dosage then try to do it slowly, for example if you're going from 50mg to 100mg then try going to 75mg for a few days then go to 100mg. I stepped up my dosage too fast and had to get checked at the hospital because my heart rate sky rocketed and I started getting chest pains 😅, after I went back down to 75mg for a bit and then went back to 100mg I was fine :)

@@oxboll19 Yep exactly that, I've mostly been struggling with nausea and anxiety but I've only been on SSRIs for a bit over 2 weeks now so giving it another week or two before talking to my doc about a dosage increase (or decrease.) Thanks for the bracing words!

The hardest part of finding an SSRI that works for you is riding out the initial few weeks for them to finally start working, and let the side effects even out. I remember how tough it is, try to hang in there but also definitely talk to your doctor if it feels like the drawbacks are too much. :)

I think it depends on context. If I was in a natural history museum, and there was a humanoid skeleton on display, and someone pointed at it and asked "Is this a human", I'd probably say yes. Likely, even if it was some pre-homosapiens human.

I would say that in order to qualify as the thing, an object needs to retain enough defining characteristics to be recognizable as the thing. So a brain by itself is not a human, a human body without a brain also lacks the defining characteristics of being able to do things like move and function. Fish bones are recognizable as holding a lot of the characteristics of a fish as far as shape and behavior
