@@DPC2011 nobody can do Garfield right. Only Lorenzo Music. Because it's not like Bugs Bunny, where it was a created voice, that other people can easily replicate. Nobody can replicate Lorenzo's voice.

As a singer and actress, I do love and am a fan of his vocal characters. That unmistakable iconic voice. He rarely if ever changed it and yet with that voice, he did so much and his writing and other accomplishments that he had done in his life - I can only begin to speculate. Thank you Mr. Music - Lorenzo, know that you are still missed dearly and people wonder about you and hope you are in a better place.

I love how I some sort of twist of fate or unique coincidence, whatever you want to call it, Lorenzo Music voiced Garfield for the cartoon series while Bill Murray did it for the live action film and the same goes for Peter Venkman (Ghostbusters 1984/The Real Ghostbusters)

I actually have a lot of memories of watching Garfield and Friends with my 2 younger cousins before we’d go to school in the early 2000’s. Even to this day, Lorenzo is still Garfield to me!

Interestingly, in the end credits of "Twice Upon a Time" they had the voice cast showing pictures of the actors alongside the characters they voiced, including Lorenzo Music, which I think it was the first time his face was shown to the public.

I think that movie actually predates when he chose to stop showing photographs and video of himself. He had appeared on TV quite a few times before that. He and his wife Henrietta actually hosted a short lived variety series for a couple weeks in the early ‘70s. It was only after he was pretty established as a VO artist that he chose to stop showing his face, after he had been doing Garfield for a little bit
