I was driving up St George's Rd en route to La Trobe uni. A SAAB pulls in front of me nearly side swipes me and I'm ropeable. At the lights the SAAB is sitting in front of me. The next set of lights and we're in the right turn lane, the bloke in the SAAB not only waves for me to move in front of him in the space he left but gives an apologetic wave for nearly taking my car out. The bloke in the SAAB was Sticks. My jaw dropped, as an die hard Essendon supporter and thought what a legend. He comes across as cracking bloke in this interview. I'd have loved him at Windy Hill but nope, respect more that he remained loyal to his word. I like the way he talks about his coaches and old teammates.
