there you go, I added one more "like". Well, if Carly isn't the best audition on any of these shows, then I'd say she has to be in the Top 5. Now, I haven't seen ALL the auditions on ALL of these type of shows, but I have seen a lot of the "BEST" from around the world. There are some amazingly talented people out there. Now, they pretty much gave her "full time" to sing her song. But in most cases the person has 1 minute!! So the song is cut down. But amazing auditions that I've seen...... Jonathan and Charlotte - Britain's Got Talent, a few years ago. Sam Bailey (woman) - X Factor UK 2013, she won. She had it won from day one. Amelia Lily (16) - X factor UK 2011, singing Janis Joplin's "Pieces of My Heart", she came in 3rd. Shiane Hawke, 14 years old, X Factor Australia 2012, singing "Mercy" by "Duffy", better than Duffy did the original. There was this Chinese man and woman on a Chinese singing show "The Voice" or something. Now the man sang well, but the gal was unbelievable!! and beautiful too!! There was this 22 year old South Korean laborer guy who auditioned on Korean singing show. There are so many. Too many to recall at this moment. Look for video clips in here "Best Auditions.........blah blah blah" and you'll find some amazing auditions. As for Carly, there is a video of all of her performance on X Factor, in youtube here. That is a very nice watch.

aspenrebel Yes, I know of Sam Bailey. Her duet with Nicole Sherzinger (sp?) was simply astonishing. The best performance I've ever seen. I followed X Factor UK this year and was surprised that Fleur East didn't win, but am happy for Ben Haenow. Btw, 'aspenrebel' - are you from Aspen? Just curious. Cheers!

Matt Robinson Yeah, Nicole can SING!! She is GORGEOUS!! Well I'd say that it was 50/50 between Ben and Fleur, Ben probably got 50+1 and Fleur 50-1 votes. I didn't like her at the beginning. Her audition wasn't great, and after that either. She's 27, but she came out like she was still 18 singing in 4 girl group like she was 9 years before when she was on the show. Then at Simon's Judge's HOuse, she "broke out". Simon said to the gal assisting him "I don't even remember her". Then she gave a more mature and sophisticated performance. She grew on the show. Ben has that unique way of singing, like he has this tiny little reverb machine at the back of his throat. He grew too, got more confident, more settled with himself. So I'd say it was 50/50. However.....Lola was my pick, my gal. But she was just so scared and nervous. There were some others who should have been there too, but weren't. Can't think of their names now. But I miss "Blonde Electra" and "Only the Young". hee hee hee. But both Ben and Fleur are shocked that they were final two, so Ben must be going nuts now. No more driving a delivery van for him, I guess, huh? Also, check out Niki Evans, from several years ago, her performance of "Total Eclipse of the Heart". Amazing. No, I am not from Aspen, I'm in Boston. But some of those other people, auditions, their clips are off to the right here, check them out.

Tate Stevens won. He was an older man, country singer I think, but I haven't bothered to listen to any of his performances, so I can't comment on how good he is or isn't. This was 2 years ago, I believe, so where he is now, I don't know. Look him up. I listened to Nina Simone sing this from 1965. In my opinion she should be embarrassed and ashamed of her performance compared with Carly's performance here in this video. I'll compare it to the difference between Bruce Springsteen singing his original version of his song he wrote, "Blinded By The Light" and the version done by "Manfred Mann" (the one we all know). The difference between Day and Night!!!

I've watched the "got talent' shows from pretty much all the countries, Australia, USA, Britain, India, France, Japan, China, Europe, everywhere, along with American Idol, and the Xfactor shows, and I haven't seen anyone with a one-time performance like this. It cracks me up everytime the black man judge throws up his hands and says "WHAT?". But you might want to watch the very first one of these videos I ever saw on here (cuz I never watched these shows before, but I do now), Shiane Hawke, X Factor Oz 2012 maybe??? She was only 14. A complete shock, that voice coming out of that person. Do they really have "India Got Talent"? I've seen some surprises on those China shows. Have you seen the one, a guy and a gal. The guy is kinda of goofy looking, but the gal is beautiful!! And they sing incredibly and play instruments. Then in another video, they are joined by another guy? But the gal has a beautiful voice.

Also check out Carly Rose when she sang "Feeling Good" again, in the Finals of this X Factor USA 2012. She is such an intelligent professional singer, that she changed it up a bit from how she sang it here in her audition. She should have won, but she came in second cuz all viewers voting fell for the sad story of that middle aged country singer guy (whose career has gone nowhere from what I understand).

Although I continue to think that she is absolutely amazing in her performances, the things that I enjoy seeing the most is the looks and expressions from her parents. Such Love and Joy in the pride they feel for their Daughter.
