The key to the flaming sword was evident from the Pilot episode. Talk about planting future scenario's from the beginning! I wonder what other items have we seen that seem innocent, but will serve as huge keys to our storyline? To "power through," season 3 you could take it three episodes at a time. Know that episode 24 is our finale with 25 and 26 being stand alone episodes.

Such a good finale... That scene where Maze is desperate for Linda and Amenadiel who was able to use his power to slow down time was amazing; Now that Lucifer has his wings back what could possible happen !? I really enjoy your final discussions....very insightful.

I love all the speculation that you make about the storyline, I will only say that you will be surprised. S3 has 24 episodes + 2 bonus episodes that don't follow the storyline because they were going to be part of S4 when fox canceled the show. When Netflix picked up the show (S4), the writers adjusted the storyline by emphasizing the celestial part, rather than police procedurals. The change was amazing. S3 is long, there are some filler episodes, but the storyline is excellent.

Yeah, it's kind of funny that she ends up filling that role in the show, when in the graphic novels it's loosely based off of, Lucifer is actually the one that does that. (Takes Michael; who is dying; into the nothingness, because Michael is the raw power, and Lucifer is the one that can manipulate and wield that power, so he does that and creates his own universe to escape the machinations of his father in an attempt to finally gain free will).

Hey you two are finally back! Defenders of the Republic for life. Just a heads up Season 3 for a lot of Lucifer fans including me sucks lol. It actually got cancelled by Fox and was picked up by NetFlix for season 4-6 (which are good). So just power through season 3 because the show gets better after it.

There are actually a couple of really good episodes that season (that even fit among my favorite episodes throughout the show), but as a whole, definitely the worst season (imo of course), a certain arc (we all know which one) drags on for a *painfully* long time... ;)

@@darkwyve oh yeah definitely a couple of good episodes but with 26 a couple can’t save more than a handful of boring nonsensical (in my opinion) ones.

@@israymervalentin-arias6313 Yeah, I agree. I think it definitely suffered from simply being too large a season. If it had been condensed down to the 16-18 episodes, that could have removed a lot of the ridiculously unnecessary fluff, and it might not have still been the greatest season, but I'm betting much better received. I actually feel the season starts strong and ends strong, but meanders on way too much inbetween. (I think most shows with large seasons suffer from this though, and much prefer the 10-13 episodes that a lot of streaming shows do now. I'll always choose quality over quantity with this type of content).

Season 3 does not suck. People are just butthurt over that one arc (which I personally thought was fine) and are hating on the season as a whole as a result. I find that attitude very childish personally, but to each their own I suppose. I am willing to admit that I thought it was the weakest season in the show, but found it good still. The only reason I think it's the weakest is because it had a little too much filler for my liking (it didn't need to be this long). And it certainly has more than just a couple of good episodes. Get over your whiny asses, sheesh.
