Sad to see Carlyon Bay in such a state . We always stopped off at the campsite across the golf course and danced the night away in the night club on the beach in the mid to late 1970s

Grew up in Crinnis and in the 70's was the best beach in Cornwall - at least for swimming and entertainment - as they say - You can never go back!

I hate to see what has become of the coliseum, the place where I saw my first gig being The Everly Brothers in 88 when I was 5. Nice to see what it looked like in it's former glory. Sad Times

What have they done to Carlyon Bay? .... they have turned it into an eyesore, and made a beautiful beach crap :( on the promise in the future when its complete, 'it will bring in more jobs etc....' they need to hurry up and either turn it back to how t was or hurry up and crack on with it, so that things can thrive again, and people can actually be proud to have holiday snaps taken on the beach. its a travesty what they have done to it.
