Carmarthen or Bust!

It's Friday 30th August and having decided not to go flying the day before (due to various reasons) I was really hopeful that today would turn out to be a good day... and I wasn't disappointed! It's such a wonderfully scenic route down to Carmarthen, so get yourself comfortable and enjoy the 5 hour 140km flight across Herefordshire, the Black Mountains, past the Brecon Beacons and the Black Mountain and finally to Carmarthen (well, almost!)

100% Mark, what are you waiting for? Admittedly you'll likely land after 20-30km initially, but pretty soon you'll be banging out 50km flights, then aiming for 100kms... go for it!

Great stuff Simon, it’s a great feeling when you do make goal, but it’s important not to get too focussed on a goal to the detriment of the flight - eg. don’t be too upset if you miss it by 1km say (!) or if going for it would involve too much cross-winding which might put you on the deck early
