Who else is here after Sha'Carri's 10.65? I've watched Florence 10.49, Elaine 10.54, Carmelita 10.64, and seeing Shelly-Ann's career is silently profound. Women's 100m is filled with showstopping moments. I am trying to understand why the track events aren't more popular, but it's getting there.

I miss watching Jeter run . Too bad her career was cut short by injuries. But i also want to note the big smile and congratulations by Shelly Ann Fraser-Pryce, who had to have been disappointed by finishing out of the medals. And now 10 years later, she just ran a 10.63. She is so admirable.

Rare blip from Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce there. You can see that she tripped at the start, which is usually the most lethal aspect of her race, and that screwed up the rest of the run. Still, she has won every other major championship 100m race, cementing her position as the women's 100m GOAT. Good running from Jeter, VCB and Baptiste. Worthy medallists.
