Before Melo got there they were near dead last in the west he got there they made 8th seed was 1 game over 8th seed then they regress because Dame like taking hero shots and CJ is the biggest ballhog in nba history. You should watch the games CJ don't pass period no matter if the entire team is open he rather force a shot. The reason they made the Conference final last year was simple the path they took wasn't that hard. Plus they had other players who fit well on the defensive end lot of factors. I watch all the games and im telling you everytime Melo is playing well efficient they kinda lowkey hate on him its like their jealous if its not them.

Yves Leveque Don’t get me wrong Melo deserves to be on that team. However, his style of offense makes the offense stagnant. Just look at that highlights, every time he goes to score everyone is standing looking. You can even see Whiteside in one possession get mad because Melo didn’t give him the ball on the block. Another by product is that now everyone wants to play iso-ball or go one-on-one because they haven’t received the ball in a few possessions. Since they know they’re not getting the ball, they look to score at the first opportunity. Look at Gary Trent Jr for instance, putting up horrible shots like he’s the star of the team.

Melo is a willing passer, but if your just standing around, what is he supposed to do? I've seen him pass out of doubles, and when guys like CJ, or Whiteside are cutting to the basket he gets it to them.
