I don't think this was a good song choice. He has a very young voice, that's why Maroon 5 was a good choice for him before, Adam Levine has a young voice as well. He needed a song that was more suited to him, that supported the upper register of his voice. He stayed pretty mid to low, and I feel like that really hindered him from shining.

The one that's had the toughest week is Josh Brookes. Carmelo is really good, and has a great voice, but his timing was way off, and his performance was kinda corny and old fashioned. they should never have gotten rid of poor Josh, especially after having fought so much to be there. I really feel for the kid. I just really hope Carmelo steps it up for the following weeks, and that Josh doesn't disappear. His first performance was awesome, and he deserved a place on the x factor.

Mikki, I understand that we want variety. All I am saying is that the Beatles sing Beatles songs, Elton John sings Elton John songs, etc. They are all GREAT. Just let the kids do what they do best.
