When you look at this scene it’s twisted meaning Hill was in head over hills in love with Carmen to the point to where when Miller called her a ho, Hill snapped and threw a blow at Miller and even though he was a dirty cop himself, as far as Carmen he was telling the truth and it messed up Hill in the long run, case and point, love can be a dirty game sometimes.

Miller might have been a dirty cop, but he wasn’t lying as far as Carmen. Hill was a good dude but gotten so far gone in his feelings to where he ruined his life for her (she dumped him) and all along he had a good woman from the start. I said this before all that glitters ain’t gold. Love can be beautiful but also toxic or even deadly.
