I will never get over the scene where Aang is talking to Zuko in the forest, after he wakes up, and he tells him about his friend in the Fire Nation, and asks if they could have been friends, too, in another life. Because those words affect Zuko. He attacks Aang in that moment-but only once. And he doesn't run after him, or even shoot fire in his direction. He just kneels there on the ground, because his heart is saying something different than his head. And then, at the end of the episode, Zuko looks at the Fire Nation insignia on the wall and turns his back to it.

This episode really shows that zuko is not only a great firebender but maybe even as good or even better with swords

in most militaries, admiral and general are equivalent ranks, where admiral is used for naval troops and general is used for ground troops. i suspect zhao was only promoted one rank, but there's some other tiebreaking factor that gives him authority over the general.

I think it is because the Fire Nation has such a dominant naval force that he technically outranks him.

@@jazzmaradermedia3550 I always found it interesting that the country based on fire had the best navy, plus the river plays a big part in a certain fire nation area later. I like that even though every country does have a representative element it sorta shows they still rely on and utilize things outside of that element. Interestingly the actual watertribe is much more like the earth kingdom than you'd think, with regards to their settlements and how they use their element. it was certainly an interesting choice to have watertribes be arctic and antarctic societies, I know if I were to come up with a "society based around water" I'd probably think of some sea fairing civilization with maybe some tropical/pacific islander influence, rather than frozen tundra.

The creators themselves call them Seasons lol. On the DVD commentaries, Mike, Bryan and the writers often say "Season" when talking about the show. The way I look at it is they are Seasons with titles. Season 1 happens to be called Book 1 Water, but it's still a Season of a show.
