This is my favorite Hollstein vid. Like others have said, this really makes you feel something and, despite the wistful emotions this evokes, this video has been a real comfort to me during a stressful time of my life. I recently caught up on the entire series so far in time to start season 3, and I have fallen completely in love with this pairing and am particularly taken with Carmilla. I feel like you really captured what these two mean to each other, the changes they make for each other, and their connection in spite of all the conflicts (internal and external) they must deal with. I love how you started with the lines "So why me then? You keep saving me." "What makes any person sacred to another?" setting the theme, which to me conveys that love doesn't always make sense; it isn't perfect. Why do they matter so much to each other despite, on the surface, valuing different things? They certainly challenge each other and offer a different perspective to the other person. Perhaps season 3 will answer that question more clearly. But for now, it's safe to say they have found a home in one another.

Found this after finishing S3. Wow, talk about them finding way home - to each other. This is the most moving video of Hollstein I've come across so far. So attentive and well-orchestrated! I actually didn't notice Carmilla's face when Laura broke the charter until seeing this video. Speechless! Natasha's always so present in a scene it's incredible to watch. Thank you for this amazing video! It makes my heart burst!
