I am thrilled to find this. I've just Googled these lyrics, to see if they existed. I remember the words from learning them in our school choir over 30 years ago. One evening as children we were taken to the local theatre in Andover, Hampshire UK to sing our bit with lots of other people. We sang something else too I'm going to look for that now.

@@johntitor4952 And if you had stepped out of your privy for even a few minutes during your lifetime and actually done some observation, you would realize that every soprano who has ever performed "Amor volat undique" on stage, including Lucia Popp, has paused for breath for a fraction of a second at almost exactly this point. I guess you just don't get out of there very often. Soooo many experts.
