This should be your #1 vid. It discusses the most essential elements of trading. Far too many traders treat trading like a video game. They totally miss the concept of S&D. So win or lose, they really don't understand why. Which is a wasted effort and they're going to repeat the same mistakes moving forward. It's like gambling with your eyes closed. You are the most articulate, clear and concise teacher of Market concepts that I've seen on KZbin. Thank you!

I just bought your course!!! How you use Supply and Demand zones, I haven't heard of. Seems like it's a super effective way to understand what's happening. I'm trying to plot them myself, but I see I'm missing some key knowledge about it that you have, so best to get it all from you. Hoping you really go into detail with how you identify them, plot them, and use them during trading. Pricing wasn't bad. I trade stocks, not options, but I bought the full A-Z Course since it wasn't much more than your Supply & Demand Course. Plus, maybe in the future, I'll check out some options vids. Thanks a lot for this content. The way you explain topics is great, and I look forward to watching the modules.

@@lupusk9productions Yeah it's definitely more in depth and with more examples. How to plot, where to plot, where not to plot, and he explains the "why" for everything, and with live intraday examples also. Worth it and I'm glad I'm learning his insight to this approach.

How do you know how much unfilled orders are in a demand or supply zone. As you showed in the video the sell or red zone was not as extended as the green zone. Do you wait to buy upon confirmation on a rejection?

I find that for intraday forex trend trading most important relevant (Guide)trend direction is ON 15 minute, 1h and 4h charts only-- For intraday trading weekly & monthly trends do not matter much(too far removed from intraday field of activity) & can be ignored. For simplicity sake if 15 minute ,1h & 4h trends are in the same direction, you have a trade set up in the same direction (one could fine tune entry 0n 5 minute charts). In general if daily candle be in the same direction for any trade it is better but not A must.--Sir, what do you have to say?

What are your thoughts on mitigated zones, once they've been retested?? My understanding is that once the zone is retested once, it is inactive/mitigated and shouldn't be relied upon again.
@abdullatokhie84474 жыл бұрын
What's the difference between the demand/supply zones you plotted versus levels of resistance and support? Your zones just look like levels of R/S. Your explanation on why imbalances occur and how unfilled orders remain at data points such reinforcing those levels, helps provide clarity. However, what happens when there is a breakdown from the demand zone? did it lose recognition of being demand zone until a new level of support is identified via consolidation/reversal?
@rahulsurana68234 жыл бұрын
could you make another vid about this but focused on finding these zones in smaller intraday time frames?
@carmine_rosato4 жыл бұрын
Zones form on any timeframe. As long as you understand the concept and know how imbalances form on a price chart, they will look the same on all different time frames. The key is spotting them on all timeframes. Will make a video on this in the future.

Couldn't it also, be considered a supply zone since it shows that buyers and sellers are agreeing on a price and making it move sideways.

This is from a website: Prices can move quickly or slowly depending on how aggressive the buyers and sellers are. The price can move very quickly if someone puts out a big market buy/sell order. A market order buys or sells every share, no matter the price, until the order is filled. Such orders may remove all nearby bids or offers, causing the price to change drastically and instantly. Other times the price moves slowly, because there are few transactions, or there are so many shares available at each bid or offer that it is very hard to move the price even with lots of transactions going through. I cant seem to understand the concept of orders left unfilled. How can that happen? above statement contradicts what you say. Can someone explain this concept?
@carritahkucherro10822 жыл бұрын
The price either jumps past or falls below the market order..............so it just sits there, all by its lonesome

Which is the better way to practice this trading technique: paper money or OnDemand? I've watched some of your OnDemand videos but for some reason when I try, TOS doesn't show either Level II or the Active Trader doesn't work right. I'm getting a little frustrated. BTW, love these videos, keep them up. I just installed OBS Studio to record my desktop, will take a few weeks to become proficient, may post to youtube for you to get a good laugh?

I would practice on paper first. Then, once you get the concept down and become proficient in drawing/understanding the zones, start real trading with VERY SMALL size at first to test with real money and remove the no emotional connection to paper trading

Carmine, It is apparent you are very smart about the subject matter of option trading, but I see a few issues in your videos. 1. You do not finish the thought or answer the question derived from the title of your videos. For example, in this video, you did not answer the question entirely what makes a supply and demand zone. How wide are they? Why are they that wide? For how long will they go? In your example slide you used, at the 10:02 mark, you show 2 supply zones and 1 demand zone. The supply zones span multiple pivots, but your demand zone spans only one pivot when there was a similar pivot two days later, yet you did not include that pivot in your demand zone. Why? 2. You use a lot of acronyms and industry lingo like you are talking to a room of institutional traders. Maybe I am wrong, but I'm assuming the majority of people watching your videos are relatively new to options trading. If we were seasoned retail traders we would not be watching these videos. "De-mystify" your terms and "lingo" you use so we understand what your terms mean, therefore understand the terms application to the presentation. How do I know this? I have been a teacher for over 36 years, and I want to learn options trading for some extra income in retirement. I enjoy watching your videos. You are one of the only people out there teaching so much about options trading on the TOS platform. Just complete your answers, and define/explain your terminology, and you will probably see your likes and subscribes soar. Thank you for what you are doing. Keep it up!!
