When u say u move your stop to break even after 7-10 points up, u literally move your stop to the price of entry? So u don’t even scale out some profits before move stop to break even? That’s hella gangster. Also when I journal I notice that most my winning and bigger winners were trades I held for a bit longer than holding short time.

How are you earning 20k with only 2 to 3k per trade? You mentioned points. How many points up or under 604 on the s&p are you even earning that? I trade options so are futures providing greater returns?
@FMD02317 күн бұрын
@@Jaysnipes he’s trading 15 contracts of ES which is a lot. 1 es contract is $12.50 per tick so that means every $1 equals $50. Futures don’t have theta so u don’t get time decay. ES moves exactly like SPX if you trade options on the index. U need to be very skilled to be trading 15 contracts and also have enough money for the margin for it. A lot of prop firms only allows u 5-6 max contracts trading es contracts on a 100k account. The fact that hes doing 15 means hes taking his a plus set up and his entry is pretty on point. So do the math on 15

Im sure im not the only one who appreciates you going through the exact orderflow scenarios that cause you to get in. Im starting to understand context and location, but confirmation I still struggle with. So far that i can tell its a sign of intention when sellers sell near the high, buyers buy near the lows, buyers buy where sellers once were, sellers sell where buyers once were. It signals a change in sentiment or intentionality from the other side. Let me know if that thinking is correct.

Would love a very indepth video on how you draw your levels. You hone in on the entry and orderflow but not really the idea behind it regarding higher time frame demand and supply. If you did an in-depth video with tons of examples and explanations behind each level it would help tremendously. I feel a lot of people watching have a decent entry model but apply it in the wrong context

Hey Carmine how do you decide on your take profit ratios? Curious to know what indicators or cues you use to determine the amount of potential a trade has. Are there trades where based on the technical analysis, you can say to yourself "this move should mean a 1-10 P/L ratio because it's got that many points before resistance/support or the move reverses? Or is it more based on your personal strategy, that you only trade moves where there will be a high success rate that a trade STARTS moving in your direction, and in the back of you mind, you're just going to let it run until it hits 9x, 10x, 12x risk, etc. I'm assuming it's the first one, that you're looking at the technicals and deciding "if this moves the way my thesis says it should, there should be this much potential before we hit a reversal, like support/resistance based on if I'm short/long." Thanks for the videos!

However, I traded both options and futures from 2019 to 2023 using everything under the sun, supply and demand, order flow, volume profiles, psychology courses, journaling, mentoring sessions, futures courses just to name a few. Ultimately I lost 50k that I bust my ass to save for years. All that to say for a small group of us who have dedicated time energy and money into trading with nothing to show, these videos are effing depressing😂 Again not blaming you for sharing content you think will add value. Amazing how you handled those losses and ended up green in the end. When you have a good strategy and setups, you might miss the timing, but re-entering at a better price while maintaining confidence in your strategy and levels is really good advice.
