Welp.
This is chaotic as shit but so is the show so this is very fitting. I love this dynamic and this potential pairing. They have so many parallels in their characterization and the way the restaurant thrives when they're communicating and working together. There's a lot of romantic potential but regardless if they go that direction, I think this bond can be deep and really satisfying to watch unfold on screen.
I'm down for them to get domestic too.

I hope there is no romance between Carmy and Sydney. Syd stands alone as a superb strong protagonist as much as Carmy. It would be wrong to dilute her to the role of woo’d woman to the strong chef. She had a much better character arc available than being the love interest. I really like The Bear for showing a strong platonic work relationship. There is no cynicism in how Carmy views Sydney.
