The Carnac bits during the last few years of Johnny's Tonight Show were consistently outstanding!

I wasn’t even born yet when the tonight show ended but I can’t get enough of it and I bet there are plenty of people in my age who share that sentiment. Just really goes to show how good Johnny was when he can still make fans of all ages long after his time.

The art transitions are amazing. Its rare to see these on today's late night shows.

I stayed up late for Carson. He always had a great show, guests. And the animals, oh my, always a hoot. Late Night today is Nothing.

And since 1962 until today he’s still the king 👑 of late night. Glad I started watching in late 1962, my buddies and I knew there was something very unique about Carson, he would lighten the mood and made us laugh with just a glance, yes, we’re a bunch of old wankers, but we love those days and memories. I can attest that today late night entertainment is pure guano.

2:13 Just to clarify for the younger viewers: it’s not “SNL executives” (as in “Saturday Night Live”), it’s “S&L executives” (cf. the Savings and Loan scandal of the 1980s and 1990s)

I second that also! I've been wanting full shows for a while now with everything, including original openings, closings, and studio 🎙 commercials that Doc and Ed have done. I've been asking like many fans for a while now. Haven't gotten a response back though about when they're going to do more full shows. Hopefully soon. 👍🤞 🙏

@@brettmcclung7590 They did a couple of few shows. One with Frank Sinatra with the famous Don Rickles appearance, Burt Reynolds,Dom Deluise, Art Carney craziness episode and New Years Eve episode from 1982 with Tina Turner. Hopefully more is on the way.
@brettmcclung75904 ай бұрын
@@meijer78yeah I know those are some of the best shows and moments they started off with. 😃 But hopefully this year and next there's More To Come. See what I did there lol. I'm sure it's all in the pipeline. I'm sure they're working on it as much as possible. Nothing beats Late Night Television 📺 before my time... I'm 37 and Classic talk shows like these are a looong bygone era unfortunately.😔 Without Johnny, Jay Leno, Conan, Letterman, Craig Ferguson. It's just not the same..
5:19 I know Sis Boom Bah is everyone's favorite... but Deja Vu is now my favorite. :)
