Holden V8's have always had a tendency to pump too much oil to the top end. I couldn't tell you how many I've seen fill the rocker covers during a burnout, leak that oil out onto the hot exhaust manifolds and catch fire! No joke...

Scotty you only need one all out pass and it would've done a high 11. 120mph in a auto is a low 11. Then if the box lunched it's self you could of said you gave it ago but those launches were crap. If you spun off the line then i could understand but bogging it 3 times . Dude it wanted you to win

Very true. It should have 100's of thousands of subs. I don't know how accurate these figures are these days, but they usually sell around 350000 copies of the mag each month, why aren't all these people subs to the channel as well? I've been buying the mag since 1992 and became a sub as soon as the channel started

Track owner was right, there were many drivers that paid to race on a clean surface, they couldn't favor you guys ... even though, i was Prayin' they would let you run. Great work as usual guys, also i never had a flywheel come loose either.

That's because they come fitted with thread locker from factory and 99% of actual mechanics do the same... In the 19 years since I got my papers, I've never fitted flywheel/flexplate bolts without it- so I've NEVER had one come loose. Ever...

I told ya boys, autos arte always better in drags, but when it comes to nd hand cars you just dont know till you drag them, well done bubba and GO HOLDEN. :) and a questions does the NO2 kit come with warming up fliud pads like those used for your hands,which is air activated, basically put a massive heap of those in the NO2 kit box and there you have it cold as ice NO2?

Agree, definitely good to check, roadkill had the same thing with the rotsun years ago, thought they had done a big end and was just flywheel bolts, loctite/thread lock is your friend!

@@CloppingIsMyThing it’s the single cam older version of the Barra pretty much, everyone has their own opinion but my personal one is that stock for stock between a N/A intech and a N/A ba Barra, the intech is the better engine, handle a lot of abuse and will do 500000+ks without issue just normal daily driving

The au engine isn’t done, check the flywheel bolts, sounds like the flywheel isn’t hanging onto the crank flange. Why don’t you grab an auto (from the taxi) and give it a run? At the moment the commodore has one run to its name with loads more upgrades.

Even tho the Falcon ran slower times and possibly have ruined it's engine is say it's won, it may not have done a 12 like the commodore but it ran consistent 13s over multiply passes Not 12s, trans leak, broken CV, Broken CV 😂😂 You'd have to get a perfect launch and perfect shifts to beat the auto in a drag esp with similar power was good to watch none the less AU should win the hill climb, Far better suspension under it and the manual will come into its own here

The commodore should not take the win for the drag racing. The only time it didn't break down was on it's practice run. It got a DNF for every one of the competition runs.
