Scotty, you didn’t phase the rear half of the tail shaft to the front half. You will be a bad vibration if it’s not phased, it also wears out the universal joints faster if not phased.

It's actually only the indicator shape on the guards that are the same,the indicator on the vr/vs Commodore models just sits inside the smaller indicator guard shape further ! 😁

Best thing in the workshop during winter is one of those Jetfire heaters. Couple of minutes runtime in the morning and everything’s toasty. You could even run it off Turbo Taxi’s LPG tank if you didn’t have a BBQ gas bottle sitting around.

Scotty, I had a Truck that had a Centrifuge Oil filter. If you set up a Centrifuge you could get all the Metal shavings etc. out of oil used on the Dyno or Rece tracks. Cheers mate.

Hey Scotty, is it me or is the rear tail shaft out of alignment with the front slip joint by about 90 degrees, they are suppose to be in align with each other. Otherwise you can end up with an horrendous vibration. Seeya Rob.....look at 26mins 8secs you'll see what I mean.

Have you got a link for the double flaring tool? I've been considering a Vevor one that looks very similar to the one you used, but I'm only too aware that lower quality stuff tends to push the line backwards when you try to do the first part of the flare.

Hey Scotty thought about a diesel heater? one by vevor are like 190 bucks and they re amazing get the one with a 10 litre tank and hard lines are best. Remote controlled turned it on from the car have it warming as you walk in.

Why don't you just wrap the pipe? Now that you have space you have room for some wrap. You aren't going to get a lot of belt deflection so close to the pulley, so if the wrap clears it should be all good.
