9:11 " Why can't the same connector be used? " Given the pin outs are different, this is done to prevent someone from swapping dashes without moving the pin locations. The next question would be " Why are the pin outs different " Answer, probably because the priority in circuit board design was to fit components into the allotted space not a specific pin out location. Circuit boards are no longer simple 2 sided affairs, some have up to 12 layers of copper traces sandwiched together making design very complex.

Was about to make a similar point but thankfully you did it for me. Not everyone is going to be as smart as Scotty and actually check the pinouts before attempting to swap dashes. Having a connector that prevents that is good design practice.

In an effort to cool the supercharger on a previous car of mine I ran a snow performance water meth kit. Super easy, solid and reasonable $. My roots blower was a condensed mess on the dyno. Super low iat's and the extra Ron bump from the methanol landed me an extra 48whp. K24 cl9 accord euro for comparison. Buy a kit !!

The big socket you bought meant you put load on the bearing. That's how you pit and damage bearing. You actually want a piece of tube the exact size of inner race of bearing that the shaft moves through easily.

Not that you need my approval, but nice job on rebuilding the snout. It was a good reference video done right for anyone playing along at home. I don't know what the old oil looked like but I would have been real tempted to reuse it (considering the cost of the oil) if it didn't look too bad. I mean you have swapped it so many times it could hardly be old.

@@brentonmiller8861 your talking crap. There's no such thing as q percentage due to the fact the driveline takes X amount of touque to spin it. So the more powe you make it also takes less inertia to spin as it's already well and truly spinning. Its quite easy to try and claim an extra percentage of horsepower die to driveline loss but in actually fact it's like trying to give your missus and excuse for having a small dick. Driveline soak is prevalent in cars around 100 to 200hp but unless it's a 4wd set up or a 18 speed road ranger... Its not going to be a percentage that can even be used as a tough guide. From what I've seen from chassis dynos in more recent years is the operator fiddling with the load to produce more numbers on paper. This shootout mode or whatever yous call it is crock of shit. My fj20 would run 22-24 psi on the street and on the Dyno in shootout wouldn't get more than 16psi with the gate completely shut. I call it freespin mode . Anyway that's my two cents. 280 on freespin mode isn't 400. Not even close
