Srikanth Krishnamoorthy music director sharreth ( composer of movies like 180, june R) had composed a song named maaleyam in mohana raagam. he did this as a fusion blending carnatic raaga with Western orcestation sung by chitra. better hear that

Also please note that the Anupallavi should read "nannu pAlimpa samayamurA nAmIda krpa jUDarA" and that's how other musicians like Abishek Raguraman and the late Maharajapuram Santhanam used to sing.

very nice... i am a dance student and i hv got music exam in my course...in which i was taught music in 12 classes ( totally 24 hours) ... i hv swarali, janta, thaatu ,upper and lower sthayi varisaigal and 5 geethams and 7 alankaras and this mohana varnam adhi thalam...am in very much need for these lessons...thanku so much...u hv got great voice...
