This brings happy memories from 58 years agoe when walking from derry to carn aged 7 woman in black apron was comeing down the barn steps and gave me a slice of scone bread never forgot her kindness

James I am making a trip to Carndonagh in May. I cannot confirm but believe my 6th GGF,Hugh Harkins, may be from the Carndonagh/Ballyoskey area. I hope to meet some Harkin/Harkins during my visit.

james harkins see the first house is that in glentougher ? the little house that had a half door until lately healy's lived in it, if it is that one i have a lovely painting of it that was done on slate.
