I miss it so much... I was so worried Jon was going to stop after 4 turns. When he said he would play 2 more, I was pretty pumped, but wished It was a full playthru still. I do understand it's a lot more work, but it was part of the reason that I loved this channel.

Game set up I believe includes each player placing the disc from their housing track onto the board in an available housing spot. You seem to have missed this when you set up.

We paid to activate them at the end of the turn where we took that new department tile.

At the start, all of the workers on the departments were active. In the rulebook, setup step 11 seems to indicate the lobby workers are deployed inactive, so only 5 should be active?

As part of setup you get to move and activate workers from your lobby.

Yeah, I understand that. Honestly I was in a similar boat, wanted to see what would happen. I ended up playing a 2p game with a friend on TTS a couple days ago to satiate my curiosity. It's an odd game and I really enjoyed the play. I think a big part of that is my fascination with the oddness and my interest in delving into it more.

I'm having trouble having any interest in the rules of this game. Not sure if the game is just incredibly dry, or if more context for the mechanics is needed. Like I don't know the whys or strategies of any of the sections of the turn. What the game is. Hope that was constructive? First time watching one of your tutorials.

Sorry about that. This video was never fully published (it's still unlisted) because the Kickstarter campaign was cancelled while they fix an issue. I planned on putting the final touches on like Klingon subtitles, advertising, etc once I went public but I suppose I should probably just do that now since people still seem to be able to find the video.
