Jason Anderson I remember they use to come to Devils Lake North Dakota a lot back in the 1990’s. They use to have a red octopus ride which had there name on the back of the seats.

Forty years in the business until my fourth heart attack. Now all I can do is visit with the best friends a person could ever ask for. I have more friends in the carnivals than I have where I live. Carnies help fellow carnies! I've lost some friends over the years due to death and some I've lost contact with. Because of the right to privacy law, I'm not supposed to try and find them. I think they've taken this right to privacy a bit too far!

When I was a ride jock I made $400 a week for a hundred hour work week and had to pay $50 a week to live in a nasty ass bed bug infested bunkhouse with a room smaller then a jail cell I had to share with another carny. I'd never do it again.

Nice Loop o Plane u guys have! I like that Rock o Plane at the beginning as well. A Sky Diver would look good on your show too! Sadly, not many shows now move a Diver n e more due to how long it takes to set it up as well as tearing it down. I helped tear down J & J Amusements' Sky Diver in 2009. It wasn't that bad. lol But to set it up at every fair?, that might get exhausting a bit. Something u get used to though.

When I was a kid the AZ state fair "always" had a Skydiver and at least 1 Chance Skywheel (best ride ever created). To me a midway isn't a midway without them and of course a Zipper.

Ah I remember the mid 1970s when the carnival would come to town old gas engine trucks and a few Diesels pulling the rides and station wagons and pick up and 1 ton trucks pulling the smaller stuff I remember seeing station wagons pulling campers with entire families no uniforms then just jeans and plain clothes some of the guys wore western style long sleeve shirts and cowboy boots in 1976 the guy on the scrambler was dressed that way operating the old gas engine that drove the ride a smaller show from Decatur Georgia but they always did a good job played us 1975 to 1979.
