I like that all of them are wearing Blackened Death Metal t-shirts in the video, the madlads repping the scene \m/. Even though I don't really like their later stuff much, Carnifex has always been that sweet spot between death metal and metalcore, it helps that Shawn Cameron is one beast of a drummer, the only other blaster alongside Alex Grind from Despised Icon who can do gravity rolls.

I wouldn't say that. They are the only CONSISTENTLY GOOD Deathcore band I have found though. There are a few bands like Job For A Cowboy, Lorna Shore and The Faceless that had one great album and MANY bands that have anywhere from one to a few good songs in their catalog such as Suicide Silence, Despised Icon, and Shadow of Intent. When Deathcore hits right, it can be as good as if not BETTER than even the most beloved death metal bands
