Carnitine supplementation is important for individuals taking valproic acid or antiretroviral medications, as these medications can deplete carnitine levels. Other medications such as steroids, antacids, tuberculosis drugs, and diuretics can also deplete essential nutrients needed for carnitine production.
Carnitine is primarily found in meat, but vegetarians can absorb it more effectively. Individuals on low-carbohydrate, high-fat diets like keto diets may have an increased demand for carnitine. Carnitine supplementation is generally safe, but some individuals may experience GI upset or a fishy odor in sweat and breath. Testing and consulting with a doctor is recommended before supplementing.

STRESS majorly depletes Vitamin C. When someone goes through prolonged stress, it taxes the adrenals. The adrenals demand Vitamin C to function properly.
