Just missed the premiere, but watched the replay. The Carnival Conquest seems to be a popular ship this year, but I can definitely imagine how small it feels after you've sailed on the Mardi Gras! I’m taking this cruise in July. Loved your video and I am so curious how you were able to take your kids on the adults only deck? Not trying to be rude but I’m really curious if that’s what to expect.

Have a great cruise. No don’t expect there to be kids in the adults only area. This was boarding day- literally a few minutes after boarding the ship. All guest areas are open for everyone to explore when you first get on the ship. Kids can walk through any area on embarkation day but they should not be there hanging out. We simply walked through. The crew is pretty good about keeping kids out of the Serenity Deck area.

Now we haven't done our research but this has got to be a sister ship of the Valor. So identical. Also are the rumors true? Heard that this parry ship gets pretty wild. Been wanting to try this ship for a while now.

Yep! It’s the sister to Valor! We enjoyed Conquest. Plan to sail on her again soon though cause it’s the cruise I had Covid so I didn’t get to see/do everything. But yes they were partying pretty hard on her! We were onboard for Memorial Day weekend!

Question did you book two different rooms or one big room for your family. Thinking about taking the kids on the next cruise.

When we first started cruising we’d try to get a cabin that would accommodate 5 guests. But now that the boys are bigger, we usually get them their own cabin (when the price is right). So for this trip I booked a balcony for me & my daughter (hubby had to cancel last minute due to work) and the boys had an interior across the hall. When my hubby can’t cruise with us and it’s just the 4 of us we usually get one cabin. Depending on the ages of your kids will determine whether they can be in a cabin by themselves/ and they usually have to be no more 1-3 cabins away in any direction from your cabin.

Thank you so much! When we stay over in Miami we stay at Comfort Inn and Suites Miami Airport north. It’s a clean hotel, offers a free continental breakfast, and free shuttle to the port (put your name on the list at check in). We also like Marriott Courtyard Airport West- they don’t have shuttle of free breakfast but it’s a clean hotel. We ubered from there to the port last time for $24.

Is Camp Ocean extra?

Nope! It’s included in your cruise cost. The only extra charge is if you have your kids stay during the late hours, 10pm-1am. That costs $8.50 per hour. Not a bad price at all if they stay late!

The food is included with the cruise cost except for specialty dining like the steakhouse. That is $48 per person.

MSC Divina or Carnival Conquest which one is better?

These two are very different ships. Depends on what you are looking for. Overall Divina is a better ship as far as decor, decks, and relaxation. Food is also better on Divina. But Carnival’s ships are nonstop fun! So if you are looking for lots of activities and fun- Carnival all the way. You won’t find that as much on MSC Divina. If I personally had to pick one to sail on today- I’d go with Carnival Conquest because of the fun and entertainment…. And I also caught Covid on Conquest so I need to take a redemption cruise lol.

Thank you. Yes we either stay at Comfort Inn Suites Airport North or Courtyard Miami West (seen in this video). Comfort Inn provides free cruiseport shuttle. Courtyard does not. Comfort Suites also has free continental breakfast, Courtyard does not. They are both clean hotels and have rooms to accommodate the 5 of us. For our needs, Comfort Suites is better but depending on which one is cheaper at the time of booking that’s how we decide. Some of the hotels in Miami are terrible so I’m glad we have found some good options there.

Yep. I sure did. Just like all of the other exclusive areas on the ship are open to EVERYONE right embarkation- we walked through to take a tour (secret- as a content creator who works directly with some cruiselines, I often get special access/permissions). No disruption to anyone as we are usually amongst the first to board the ship. The crew and other guests onboard didn’t have a problem (and they NEVER do on embarkation day). So you shouldn’t either. But you know what? THANK YOU FOR THE ENGAGEMENT! ✌🏽 #icreatemyownrulesandwinEVERYTIME 🙄

How did u get to go into your room so early

So this cruise was supposed to be a 4 day cruise. The day before our cruise is when Carnival Freedom had a fire on their funnel. Our ship had to go get those guests and take back to port. So there was 1/2 day before we boarded where the ship was empty. So all cabins were ready when we got onboard. Loved being able to go directly to our cabin!

A couple days before our cruise Carnival Freedom had a fire on the ships funnel. So our ship was sent to pick up those guests and returned them to Port Canaveral. Our 4 day cruise became a 3 day and we were compensated the one day plus an extra $100 onboard credit per cabin.
