We always stay in the interior rooms and yes, they are dark when the light goes off. In the Jubilee bathrooms if you get 2 Oompa-Loompas in there, you would be lucky. But I told my wife on our next cruise let’s try a balcony. We traveled with our granddaughter and we got a ocean view room. The bathroom was definitely a little bigger it had a and it also had a room with a small kid tub that was on the vista

We do them all cabins at certain times. We just booked a last minute on Jubilee next month and it was already mostly full, but I snagged an ADA interior cabin, so it will be a little bigger for my wheelchair. We are Diamond + on RCCL and have only cruised Carnival once many years ago, but the Jubilee was too tempting to pass up. We are hoping we will like it. I love your review style, very detailed and your needs seem to mirror ours. We are also Ozarkians, just on the border in Ark. going up to Branson.

Honestly I am more of a balcony person, but before making my choice for the Jubilee I guess I would have to look the differences between balcony and an interior. If balcony is bigger, I could choose that. But if it’s the same size, it would choose in function of the price

I love the balcony, but it’s not a must have for me. I stayed in a studio cabin on Norwegian, and it was just fine. I’m booked in an ocean view going around Hawaii. That ship sails mostly at night between the islands, so a balcony is kind of a waste. Besides, I can use the savings for excursions while I’m there.
