We booked 8237 on the Miracle. Great to see what these look like. The past two cruises we've been in a suite but didn't want the expense of one for our Alaska cruise next year. I call this a "Suite Lite" because is has many of the amenities of a suite for almost half the cost. A GREAT value. Thank you for your videos as they have been INVALUABLE to my wife and I planning our Alaska cruise for May 2020.

Excellent tour of your wonderful. spacious stateroom! I love the way you always sidenail the location of stuff on the deck plan of the ship, or other information - so clever, and really helpful! They should change the orientation of that mini fridge door opening, so it doesn't bonk into the cabinet door every time you open it, that's frustrating. Gotta love the ole' :"stick to my butt, I'a a human plastic burrito" shower curtain - NOT!!!! LOL They need to add at least 1 USB port by the bed, so you can at least charge your phone at night. I try to be mindful of what's over/under/near my stateroom, because I'm a light sleeper. And that was LOUD!!!!!! Big hugs to you, Rob, the whole family, and all the gorgeous fur babies!!

I agree about the fridge! It was a pain to get in to! Haha! The shower curtain, it being new somehow made it less disgusting to me.. well sort of! I hear some rooms do have the usb port but this one did not.. I agree I would like one. I charged by the bed with an external battery. The fan didn't drown out the noise, it was loud for sure! Hugs!

I am not sure where the noise was coming from. It was all night long and the ship was quiet, no parties or anything on the decks at night. The balcony was amazing! I never napped out there, I will have to book it again and nap! haha! Hugs!

Favor, we have this exact room on Miracle booked in Sept. Were you able to get a decent night’s sleep despite the noise, or were you up all night?

The first couple nights I was kept up, even Rob had trouble and he sleeps though everything! After that, it seemed to settle down or we became accustomed to it. I have a loud fan I use to help drown out noises on ships. I know your room steward will bring you a fan if you don't have a way to get yours on the ship or to the port by plane. Hugs!

We were just on the Legend sailing 5-19-19 from Honolulu for 10 nights and ending in Vancouver. From Vancouver it started the Alaskan legs.

Yes! We heard about your sailing and how they were getting accustom to being in America again vs Australia. The crew said it was a bit of a rough go! Some people on our sailing had been on from the last sailing of Australia to the Hawaiian cruise and then the first sailing of Alaska! I bet you had an amazing cruise! 10 days! Nice! Hugs!

I have problems with my hero too sometimes, it will stick and i have to take the battery out to get it to reconnect, annoying! I know that those sounds would be very very annoying but wow what a nice room with a large balcony...thanks for sharing!! I am slowly getting these vlogs all done

I booked the room, I just didn't realize it was a larger room with the larger balcony. On the deck plans the balcony only looked deeper not wider. Total surprise at the size! Hugs!
