We sailed on this ship last November. Was supposed to go to the Bahamas but a hurricane was heading there so we went to Cozumel. This ship is beautiful! Had fun!

I remember that. It was a late season storm and we just missed it on our cruise. I would much rather go to Cozumel than try to sail through a hurricane!

random question does this go to compass cay in nassau? or do you have to get off and take a different boat?

The ship only stops at the Nassau cruise port. Compass Cay is about 75 miles away from Nassau, so you probably wouldn't be able to get there and back in time by ferry, since the ship is only in port from 10 am to 6 pm. Just booked for march 2023. I see some people wearing mask is it required in some areas of the ship? Do men have to wear a suit and tie for the evening dining hall?

Hi. Masks are optional at this time. The dress code for the main dining rooms is cruise casual which means something like a polo shirt and khakis or jeans (but no cut-offs or rips), no flip-flops and so on. On formal night, dress slacks and shirts are suggested but not required. A lot of people like to dress up on formal night, however, because the photographers have stations setup with scenic backdrops on the Promenade deck where families can get their keepsake photos taken.

Is it ok to go to cruise to the Bahamas in June or July? I’m afraid it’s during hurricane season.

Hi. Jenny. The peak season for the Caribbean is December to April, although there are still sailings there in the summer months. June is the start of hurricane season, but storms are rare in that month. I would try to book it as early as possible in the summer to avoid the worsening weather conditions as the summer turns into fall.
