Carnival Mardi Gras-(5/1/24) Roatan, Honduras: Monkeys, sloths and car troubles. Almost stranded!

Join us for Day 5 of our cruise on Carnival Mardi Gras! We booked a monkey/sloth excursion through Victor Bodden tours. We had a blast, did a little shopping and when we got ready to head back to the port, our tour guide’s car wouldn’t start. We finally made it back to port, had some great food and beer then headed to the beach to cool off.

Question??? Why did you only stay at the beach by the ship for only 30 minutes. Did you have to pay for the chairs, cabanas and lift? Im Michele too 😊

@@mdweddingplanner ❤️❤️ Some of the chairs might be free but the ones right by the beach are $25 for two chairs. The other times we’ve been to Mahogany Bay, rented chairs and had a beach day! We were ready to just get back on the ship due to our earlier adventures!!!! Michelles Rule!! 🤣🤣

It’s only about a 5 min walk past where the lifts are! We always walk! There is a charge for the lifts!!
