Agree 100% about Corona beer is way better in Mexico. I don't drink Coronas in the states, NO thank you. Love Cabo, been there many times. I was there last spring. I always stop at the Red Rocker, Cabo Wabo when I'm out there. Man, those tacos....YUM!

How bad do they get you on the exchange rate if you pay in USD? Is it enough to just use USD or should I get pesos?

For little souvenirs here and there, USD should be good. But, if planning multiple trips to Mexico, might be a good idea to get pesos ahead of time.
