Thanks for the tour. I want to take my wife on a cruise out of Port Canaveral on the Mardi Gras, and I am aiming for either an ocean suite or a spa ocean suite. Hi Shezadiva, thanks for watching. I would say it depends on how much more money it will cost you. The Ocean Suite is very nice and will give you more space, but you don't get much in the way of extra perks. Also worth checking how much it would cost to simply book a higher room category.

Question. How do we know which Cat OT cabins have the layout you showed? I ask because we’d prefer the bath-bed-closet-sofa bed layout vs the bath-closet-bed-sofa bed layout you show in the diagram. This layout gives a 3rd person more privacy vs the one where the bed and sofa bed are adjacent.

Hi David, thanks for watching. It's really just the closet and bed positions that could be switched. The bathroom will always be near the door and sitting area with sofa bed will always be near the balcony. As far as which rooms have a certain layout, not so easy since these room are staggered all over the ship, but it is possible that rooms like 15301 that have balcony facing forward are setup up the way mine was and those with rear facing balconies (such as 15279, 16250) are the other way.

What are the differences in these ot suites and the os on the corners on deck 10? I booked 10315 and wondered about this….got a special price in the 900 pp range….did I get good deal? Thanks.

Hi Danielle, thanks for watching. Only difference is higher deck locations for OT category suites. I would say that $900 pp is good price, but pricing is relative to the specific dates of departure. Enjoy the room, the extra space, especially in the bathroom is nice.

Thank you for this tour, I have this same room booked for a party of 4. Can you confirm if it has the ceiling bunk? It didn’t look like it did and now I am concerned. The deck plans indicated it did and is one of only a few OTs that let you book for 4.

Hi Adrienne, thanks for watching. The deck plans and Carnival's website shows this as a quad occupancy room, however, there is only the king bed and a single sofa bed. I was planning to book the same room again for my family of 4 and while they will allow me to do this, at some point they will figure out the problem and likely change your room. I have passed along the inconsistent details with Carnival already, but I recommend to contact them as well.

Hi Nan Go, thanks for watching. If you are referring to the OS category on deck 9, they have a traditional balcony design, not one on the corners like the OT.

Hi Cheryl, thanks for watching. You're booked in a category OS - Ocean Suite. The OT will likely be at a slightly higher rate. First thing to do is check with whom you booked the cruise, and see if 15301 (or another preferred OT room is available). From there, they should be able to switch your category/room and if applicable charge you the difference in fare. Good Luck!

We booked a spa suite 17293...this room is a replica.. Very nice room but i hate the location of the wardrobe..how stupid of a design this is. It Totally blocks the view to the rest of the cabin from the bed.. I'm glad we only paid $2100 total for this room.. Chris, The photos and diagrams are all wrong..why can't they show accurate representations of the rooms? Its unacceptable..

Hi Craig, thanks for watching. I agree there are some shortcomings with the room layout, but if you are traveling with kids, that separate area with its on tv will be useful. I think they tried to allocate space over layout, the suites on other Carnival ships are better in that regard. Inconsistency with photos and diagrams from most of the cruise lines is a major problem. They try to use the "one fits all" methodology and don't highlight small or even substantial variations.
