The Sensors are for "Tracking" and "In Transit Visibility" which can be used for Billing. There are DEFECT Detectors, they are lineside, they have sensors for: Dragging Equipment Dragging Wheels Hot Boxes The detectors will sound like a "robot" stating ____ RR ____ Division, Mile Post __ Eastbound ____ Axles No Defects.

There are no more wagons on the Strates Show. When I was over there in 1975, the Kiddy Land had a shop wagon that came from the Clyde Beatty Circus when that show traveled by rail. An old timer, Otto "Stoney" Stonecleaver (Not sure of the spelling) was the Train Master then. "Four-Five" and Westley Bond were tractor drivers. Jim Dillman was the chief electrician, Steve Fanning, a former flyer and Bull man from the circus had the pony track. Steve had come to Strates in the 1950's when the old man, James E. Strates purchased some Bulls and created a "Back-In" show with them.

Remember having my ID stolen in Calgary, and having to hide in the possum belly of a wagon while the RAS train crossed🎪 back into the country. The thrill is gone.

It's a shame the passenger cars don't travel with the train anymore.

I have three questions. First is a wagon different from a trailer? I notice he used the word wagon but the tilter whirl is normally a trailer. Second is a superintendent a manager? I ask because I never heard that term before in reference to a carnival company before, but manufacturing I have heard of it used, and finally do they contract with the same train company like say CSX or Norfolk Southern?

1. Yes they are different. But the tilt was on its normal road transport trailer. 2. Yes a superintendent is a manager. 3. Yes.

How do they contract the locomotives and have they ever thought about getting their own engines?
@USA24541 Жыл бұрын
The railroad company will not permit that. The train is always pulled by the railroad company engine and crew.
