Hamburger Helper has been a quick and inexpensive way to feed a family for a long time, but the carbs are killer! Click the subscribe button, like, and share to help me grow this mission of taking foods like this one and making them accessible with keto and carnivore recipe versions to help transition ourselves, friends, and families to the keto diet or carnivore diet without feeling lost! This hamburger helper recipe is going to be a huge step to anyone going low carb that used to love this comforting meal. The recipe card is on my website, and some of the gear I used is linked below!
Eat your meat (especially when it looks like hamburger helper), love your life!

It's amazing to me that thousands of people all over the keto/low carb community have spent years trying to create the perfect noodle. Some came closer than others, but nobody ever quite got it right. And then all it took was some (possibly) insane musician to look in his freezer at frozen shrimp and think, hmmmm, I'm going to turn crustaceans into noodles. Bravo Chris!

This looks really good, Chris. I've been making my own version of ketovore "hamburger helper", I'll have to give this one a try, too. My family has been craving a "Dinty Moore" style beef stew, but I cannot figure out how to get that thick gravy and stay carnivore (or ketovore). Maybe, you can figure it out? Anyway, thanks for your recipes and time!

I can't wait to try this! I haven't had hamburger helper in a very long time! Also, Chris, your recipe card page is a bit hard to read on your website as they overlap no matter what size screen you are on. I may suggest putting it as a list that you can pick which one it is, and it will bring you to a single recipe instead of trying to find each one on a long scroll.
@ChrisCookingNashville
@ChrisCookingNashville 5 ай бұрын
Hi Lynette. This must be an issue with your browser or device as they don’t overlap on any of my devices. The issue with a list is I would have to have a separate place to host every recipe for you to click on them, and that would be thousands of dollars to do, plus it would require website coding which I am not skilled at doing.

Another WIN! Would this be a good version of your noodles to use as a base for my Beef Stroganoff? Keep it up! 💪👍

Just finished making this, the noodles are amazing! I can't wait to try them out on my noncarnivore husband tonight! I used about a third of the noodles, which is perfect for me. As I was stirring the sour cream in, it started to remind me of beef stroganoff, then I thought to add about a heaping teaspoon of the Keto Chow mushroom soup mix. Tastes great! Maybe hubby will come along on carnivore, with good recipes like this! Thanks to you and lovely Ash❤

I made the made the noodles a couple of weeks ago and added some hamburger to make this. But I froze half the noodles because I am single. Last week I went to the freezer, cut up the frozen sheet, fried and added the cheeses. It didn't taste quite the same. Figured it was because of change in cheeses and no hamburger. A week later I remembered the frozen pasta was actually a frozen pizza crust (your recipe). Duh! No wonder it didn't taste like pasta. lol. The pasta is already cut up in different freezer.

Hey Dustin! Sounds awesome. I haven’t used a pizza cutter because I don’t have one anymore but it would probably work. I made two bottoms a few weeks ago and now wanted to make the second one and it is even better than the first! I dried the bottom of the pizza first in the oven before I put it on the stone with everything on it. That worked better! It was delicious. Now this looks delicious too! Might give it a try soon when things settle down a bit here I hope. This pizza thing was just easy since I had the bottom already. Going to make some more for easy meals in the coming weeks. Hi again Chris! I suspect these excellent recipes work so well because using the blender you’re really working the protein from the shrimp. In Asian cuisine they make fish balls and they manually work the fish paste for a long time to really create a bounce to the texture, and I think this could be really important to getting a great bouncy noodle texture. I’m going to experiment with running the blender for this noodle recipe for different lengths of time, and I will report back with my findings!

@ChrisCookingNashville it was delish! My "pasta" batter really thick. I used chicken breast meat. I thought that maybe why. I added water to loosen it up a little. Turned out fine!!!

Just discovered your website❤❤❤so Terrific! You recipe card with video is so great, very helpful. You Already Do have a Cook Book, right there! And Tuesday night backstage, and Ash Wednesdays! You are building something so Special! I’ll be keeping up best as I can!to all those people who have requested a Cook Book; read down in the ‘more’ description and Don’t Overlook all the links in blue letters! I was so eager to watch the videos, I just skimmed over them.

I love that you make real human size servings. Most other recipes I see have totally unrealistic serving sizes. Great for calorie count, but who eats that way?

Kinda new to the cannel, and loving it. Do you know if these noodles can bye baked in a casserole? 350* or so? Do they hold up?
@ChrisCookingNashville
@ChrisCookingNashville 5 ай бұрын
Hello! I haven’t done it but I’ve done similar things and these will definitely hold up very well. They might get a bit softer if the casserole has a lot of moisture but it won’t be an issue. 😊👍🏼 I’m so glad you’re here.

Chris I've got a video request for you :) assuming you take those kinds of things, I'd love a video where you go over your noodle type recipes and just go over the differences and what those differences cause. a bonus would be to do the same thing with the rice.

Camera focal length and lighting make spoons look much larger. 1 Tbsp of seasoning would make this close to inedible. 👍🏼

I just used this noodle recipe to make something ive missed for a long time. Lasagna. For some reason after blending it, it came out extremely think. I even tried blending it longer thinking it wasn't long enough. Still didn't work. It still cooked fine but i had to scoop it out and spread it with a spoon. I also had to cook it longer then 15 minutes

That’s strange. Maybe too much egg white powder or gelatin? Or a very low water content in something else.

Funny story: The first year or so my wife and I were married we had Hamburger Helper almost every day. It got to the point where we were so sick of it, my wife my banned it from the grocery list. I think it would, but I would truthfully use this one instead personally. Just use the noodles for lasagna instead of rolling them for manicotti. kzbin.info/www/bejne/qmGonISwj7GgY6Msi=RlUdXW9igg1PDmtq
