Autoimmune diseases run my life I am afraid,under active thyroid, inflammation on steroids, no functional metabolism, have been doing Carnivore for only 9 weeks,after 6 years Vegan( yes I know hey🫤I believed all the hype) Now trying to reverse my ill health. Will have to follow suit and eliminate all dairy from now on.

Including butter? I had to ditch butter as well as other dairy
@chrisbr196919 күн бұрын
I’ve never had a problem with raw diary. I’ve been drinking it for 14 years. Carnivore was the best decision I’ve ever made regarding my health.

The Masai dairy is raw and the dairy available in most western countries is cooked (Pasteurized). The cooking process denatures the proteins in the milk so it can become toxically reactive to those consuming it

I cook in ghee, use pure salted butter as a condiment and drink Maleny cream as it is the only one that is pure - no carrageenun. You don't know how good pure 100% cream tastes after consuming the other modified stuff! The only carbs I am consuming is Mayver's Crunchy peanut butter / paste as it is only peanuts, peanut oil with a dash of salt - no vegetable / seed oil. Beef and bacon make up my diet Mon - Fri and I'll have a few eggs with bacon on the weekend. I eat a bacon that is low in nitrates / nitrites etc - some have more than others and drink at least 2 litres of water daily. For a snack on the go, I usually carry a pack of Barbell Biltong Seasalt Carnivore snack as it doesn't need refridgeration and no carbs.

Any problems you have were done way before you decided to stop poisoning yourself with plants, so no matter what you decide to eat today, it could take a long time to get your body back to homeostasis. It all depends on how you have lived so far

Dairy is fine for some people but not others

This is so fascinating because all the foods he listed I have lost desire to eat. I was quite shocked.

Does Ghee contain the morphogenic effect that say, butter or heavy cream does? What about Kiefer?
@Candeerose319 күн бұрын
Ghee does not, as the milk solids are removed during the cooking process. As for kiefer, I have no idea.
@_Pat_111119 күн бұрын
Kefir contains a lot. Heavy cream much less.
@saisruthiv526518 күн бұрын
Kiefer definitely yes, as for ghee, most people do not find it addictive, but unfortunately it does have a morphogenic effect on me.

I only drink organic raw milk, which I process into sour milk.

I dont believe the raw dairy the tribe were consuming..other factors like dirty water etc etc could come into it.

What about A2 dairy? Is it a problem?
@lesliejacobs300218 күн бұрын
A2….vs A1…..is reflected by the type of fat, protein carbs make up of different diary breeds. Currently A2 is thought to be better absorbed.. utilised nutrients..for the human.. A1 breed of dairy cows.. is mostly the Holstein cow. The black and white one.. that most dairies in the USA use..high producers.. A2..breeds. Are some Jerseys ( need to be tested) , Jerseys.. Sheep, goats.

Interesting about diary, mine is gluten. I am not sure humans can be compared to lions and cheetahs.

I've always thought of us as more like bears, who eat whatever they can get their paws on. Lions and cheetahs can't survive on plants, but humans can - they won't thrive, of course, they won't be in top health, but millions of peasants lived for thousands of years mostly on grains and a few veggies.

Gluten is not part of the carnivore diet. He is talking only within the carnivore diet.
