Your videos are so real. Thank you for doing what you do! I’m on carnivore for 7 days. I did Keto with a little carnivore, lost 82 pounds, got married, started eating crap, gained it all back. I can’t stand the feeling or look! By the way my daughter has 16 year old Quads, 2 girls & 2 boys. Love it! Keep up your good work!

I wonder if you have an editor for your documentary. What is your budget like? Are you using a Netflix approved camera or a camera that’s is approved for streaming? Do you have a boom mic or lavaliere mic you can attach to the on air talent while you interview them.

I've got my husband at least thinking about his food. He came to me this morning, "look what I'm eating for breakfast", cottage cheese with melons. He was happy, I was happy for him but as he was walking away I said "take a chomp off a stick of butter too. You need that for your brain."

We have a cruise next month. Our last 2 cruises weren't as successful as we hoped sticking to Carnivore, but that's changing with this one. We have sent an email to the cruise line expressing our "special needs", and have a response from them stating that our dietary requirements will be met. We did specifically state that we do not consume seed oils, and only eat meat with limited dairy, so hopefully our dining experience is positive. If vegans can request no animal products and be catered to, Carnivores can request the opposite. On another note, yes, the ship crew work their butts off for long hours and moderate pay from the cruise line. Some positions make the majority of their wages from tips. So take care of your servers and room attendants.

@@zorabw8948 Couldn't have asked for a better experience. We communicated with our waiter, who called over the head waiter, who called out the chef. By the time we were done, they all understood. The head waiter even offered to meet us in the buffet so that we could get clear answers about the food on offering, and even had certain items cooked "clean" especially for us. On the last 3 nights of the cruise, they even prepared special no sugar/seed oil/artificial sweetener desserts for us with whipped cream and cream cheese.

Here is a little tip: When you go to frying station, get few packs of butter on the way and hand it to whoever makes the eggs. They know. They'll wipe the skillet and do yours with butter instead of canola or whatever crap they use. If they refuse, look for one of the "officers" and complain. They will. Also, "regular" bacon cured with sugar among other things. Not much but if you that sensitive, just get burger patties. Every single cruise I've been has those. Same for lunch/dinner. They have either something at the carving station (which might have sugar too) or burger patties. Then there is a seafood. Salmon and such. Shrimp. I just grab some butter and shrimp. That works too. Stay away from chicken at all costs... it's the worst. It's a bit easier for me, I also eat berries and honey. There is no good honey on a ship, but berries usually a plenty. Some plain yogurt (if you can do dairy) and berries do it for me. Of course not as much "fun" in regular folk view, but I started to look at food as purely nutrition long time ago... So yeah, just my 2 cents.

Sounds like a plan regarding the butter. This works except for the smaller Oceania 600+ cruise ships since Norwegian Cruises bought them out. Since then, the smaller ships have only margarine and no butter except at one of the specialty restaurants. On the first landing, I grabbed a taxi, went to a grocery store, and bought my own butter. My fellow cruise patrons were envious, but then again, they did not take it upon themselves to rectify the problem.

I needed to see this today. I have such horrible depression and anxiety. My son who lives with me has horrible depression. We've been doing the carnivore diet for about 4 or 5 weeks. We both are sleeping better. He's been sick for over 3 years and I am retired. We are very low income. I went to the food bank today. It helps with food and we qualified for the Christmas food. We got home and opened the 2 boxes. I was really hoping for meat, but, there was very little meat in there. They were filled with cake mixes, muffin mixes, cornbread mixes, mac and cheese, literally everything we do not eat. I stored it away in the pantry. I have a pantry filled with crap food, cheap food, food pantry food. I have no idea what to do with it. I've given a lot away to other low income elderly people. But I've been staring at a box of raisin brain cereal. I really wanted it. But, decided to watch videos instead. Thank you. I no longer want any of the junk we got. We got a $60 Dillons gift card. We will go tomorrow and use it to buy the best quality meat we can find. That was the true blessing. I'm tired of depression and aches and pains. Watching you and listening to has helped. I want to heal. It seems all the odds are stacked against elderly disabled people, but, I will prevail. Thank you very much and God bless you and your family.

It was hard the 1st cruise but I found some hacks that worked 1- I brought butter patties from the bread station to the egg station and had the used it to make my fried eggs(every morning and the wiped out the pan beforehand 2- no cheating at all and took boiled eggs back to the room for snacks if needed 3- ordered steak every meal and ate till I was full. 4- brought pork rinds with me and made my own nachos if I needed it to feel treated. 5-brought my lmnt and drank 2 a days and felt awesome. I’m with you 💯%! I love sailing/chartering “small” (45-55’) yachts… just big enough for family or maybe a few friends (girls trip, etc). There’s no comparison in the experience. I went on a cruise ship ONE TIME in my 20’s and said NEVER AGAIN! I took my Mom on a Caribbean cruise (it was her dream!) when I graduated from pharmacy college as a “thank you.” I enjoyed HER enjoyment of the experience. It was great spending this time with her, especially since we would end up losing her at the relatively young age of 64 to an acute form of leukemia. I’m 63 now, and with the carnivore WOE, I feel better than I did in my 20s/30s, so I’m very aware of how “young” 64 is to leave this earth and your loved ones. I’m so grateful that I took a couple of trips like that with her before I got married and started my own family. But back to the cruising experience… Again, I enjoyed spending the time with my Mom, but ON THE CONTRARY, instead of some “luxury experience,” to me, it felt like we were part of a “herd of cattle” on a boat! You have to do everything in groups, everything is “scheduled,” lots of standing in lines for EVERYTHING you want to do, the only thing that seemed “luxurious” at the time was the copious quantities and varieties of FOOD that they had available. But now that I’m a carnivore, even that aspect would be unimpressive to me. For those who haven’t tried it, I would HIGHLY recommend chartering a small yacht to sail around in the British Virgin Islands. Get a 45-50’ boat; hire a captain if you don’t know how to sail it yourself; take about 5-7 family members or friends and split the costs. The last time I went, it ended up being a little over $100/day/person, and we split the costs 5 ways/between 5 adult friends/family members. IT WAS PURE HEAVEN! We sailed WHERE we wanted, WHEN we wanted. We ate WHAT we wanted WHEN we wanted. We provisioned the boat with some groceries to cover breakfasts, lunches and a few dinners, and we ate out at local island cafes and restaurants the rest of the time. Every time that we’ve done this, it’s been the BEST VACATION EVER! Now, obviously a couple could charter a smaller boat (32’), and a larger group… say several families… could get a larger boat. It’s easy to tailor the boat and the experience to your own personal needs. And it’s a FAR MORE ENJOYABLE experience than feeling like you’re part of a herd of cattle on a boat! I encourage anyone who loves boating/being on the water and tropical destinations for vacation to try it. You won’t be disappointed, unless you just love being part of “the herd.” 😉😂

Kerry, My mother used to say that I carried the weight of the world on my shoulders when I was younger. I had so much empathy and I could see it in you and you have got to ground yourself you have got to pull that back because it will kill you emotionally, trying to fix everybody. You can't fix anybody unless they want fixing, the best you can do is put the information out there and let people decide for themselves. I go through this with my kids , my youngest especially she's a reckless eater she's trying to get pregnant and she's having a hard time and I keep thinking to myself if you change your diet you'll change your body chemistry you'll get pregnant easier but she's so tired of me talking to her about what she eats and her weight and diet that it falls on deaf ears now when I open my mouth. Just got to pull it back to the 38th parallel.

@@dreamofmermaids Nothing wrong with bacon itself if eating only a small quantity because of the Omega 6 which causes inflammation. Some people might be sensitive to it if eaten too much. He has more meat choices when he's home, but he said that's the only meat choice for breakfast on that ship, so he ate a lot of it. I'm sure it was more than his usual amount he would eat at home. I don't eat bacon all the time. And when I do eat bacon, I only have 2 or 3 slices. And only every other day or so. I can't eat a whole chunk of pork because my stomach cannot take it. So only eating a couple of thin slices of bacon every two or three days is best for me. I don't mind not being able to eat pork because of the Omega 6. And I think, even if I loved pork, which I do not, I don't think I'd be eating it the way I eat Ribeyes and NY Strips. And that's because of knowing that it's too much Omega 6. A Ribeye steak has the perfect ratio of Omega 6 to Omega 3. I don't need to throw that off balance by eating pork and chicken. Both have more Omega 6. No thank you! Try eliminating bacon for several weeks. Then reintroduce it and see how you feel. 🤷🏻‍♀️ You may not even feel anything but you might. Everyone is different. But know this, pork does have more Omega 6, so you might be consuming more than you should.

I've been doing a lot of people watching since I went low carb in Oct 2021. In that time I've lost 22kg, down from 80kg, without trying (I'm only 5 foot in height). I now weigh what I did before I fell pregnant with my first child in 1985. I don't judge people but I look at them with sadness, especially the large ones that you see pounding the pavement who are trying to do something about their weight. And the large parents with the round children; mini versions of the mum/dad. And then there are the ones who look "normal" until you look at their waistline and notice the bulge. I cannot imagine that I will ever be full carnivore but I'm eating a lot more meat than I used to and cutting out more veggies. And looking at what people are buying. I used to be one of them but thankfully discovered low carb and remitted my diabetes and gained many other benefits from changing what I eat.

I so understand Kerry!!! I think we all do. There's no judgment, since the depression (as I think you and I and many others see it), was the direct reflection of all the seed oils and the cheap, unhealthy meats and "foods" that ships are stocked with. Also, watching thousands of people eating only to please their taste buds without any regard to their health and well-being can be incredibly discouraging and depressing. Red meat is the most ideal food for me and a growing number of people, and now that I've been on carnivore for a year and a half, I can feel it instantly if the old symptoms start to come back. For instance, when I eat a certain brand of organic, supposedly clean sausage, I become angry, irritated and annoyed, with moments of absolute rage! It's so weird. But as soon as I eat beef or elk, the anger completely and almost instantly disappears. I've tested this 4 times now and the same thing happens every time. Bacon doesn't have the same effect. So? No more of that sausage! Thank you for sharing your story, and I have every ounce of faith that your joy and excitement will return in spades. Much love to you and your family!

@@nancymc4154 It's Beeler's frozen breakfast sausage, that I got from a local health food store. A couple of days ago I had about 8-oz of (no-sugar) bacon and I had the same angry, irritated feeling as I did with the Beeler's sausage, which went away as soon as I ate an elk burger, which was interesting. So I'm thinking that I should probably eliminate all pork from my diet.

I have never been on a cruise, or basically any vacation in my life. The only times I had to travel was for work, and I was always counting down the time until I could come home. When I would go to conventions I would eat at the buffets, and laugh internally at the people around me stuffing on "duck food". I never understood why anyone would eat potatoes, pasta, rice french fries when there was roast beef, steaks, seafood and similar. It is surprising that you Kerry had your symptoms return so quickly. I can eat a lot of chicken, but rarely eat bacon because I do not like the taste. Seed oils are pretty bad, I never understood why anyone would cook with it. When I cared for my mom she loved Asian food, I was using lard to stir fry veggies and rice for her. When I tried to use seed oils the fumes gave me a headache! I would rather visit my rural friends and move hay bales with the skid steer or drill fence post holes versus being stuck on a floating virus incubator.

Vacations are to relax and de-stress. I wish you well but relax. Take time to meditate and go for a walk. On a ship, walk the deck or go to the gym. Welcome Home

You have amazing daughters, so well mannered and kind ❤. I believe you did do the best you could and had no way of knowing how much vegetable oil you were getting and i'm sure it was quite a bit. I know exactly what you mean about being a carnivore designated driver. But, that's just being a dad, and keeping yourself accountable and hoping others do the same. Great video!

OMG, I had one cruise and I hated it. I got so tired of eating. It reminded me of Las Vegas on a ship. My idea of a vacation is camping in the woods. You and your wife are wonderful and caring and kind parents. Your daughters are precious and I am glad your family had a wonderful time

Your experience proves that we're all different. I cruised while being carnivore and had no issues. I made sure to order my dinner the night before because I prefer to eat in the main dining room. The only other meal of the day was had in the buffet where there were a lot of carnivore options. All the other food options looked unappealing to me because of what I know how they'll effect my health. I ate hard boiled eggs and even the pre-made scrambled eggs and had no issues with that. I had no problem staying away from the oils and mystery concoctions. The best meat on the ship I was on was a "Chicago Roast Beef" and I was lucky enough to get a small slab of fat. It was SO delicious! I lost weight after that cruise. I hope the title of your video will not put off other carnivores from cruising. Cruise ships are known to cater to dietary needs. You only have to ask about it. Plus, there's SO much more to cruising than eating. Cheers.

I’m so pleased you posted this video. I’ve been on carnivore for a while now and great at staying off the carbs - veggies, fruit, bread etc. However I’m having problems with my sweet tooth. It will be a test tomorrow when we have friends over for a coffee morning and the cake is brought out. I shall have a new resolve and eat some bacon. I’m feeling a bit more positive now. 🤞🤞

The great thing is that you got to have a wonderful time with your family as well as seeing an awesome rainbow and all the other beauty of the cruise. The feeling of isolation? Well, that’s kinda part of being a carnivore/PHD person. I feel it too. No one around me understands or believes this is the WAY despite them witnessing how my health has turned around with this and that the weight is steadily coming off. It’s very isolating. And depressing. People refuse to even try to understand. I am surrounded by carb addicts, plant based advocates and vegetarians who look at me askance. I too watch KZbin carnivore community vids everyday just to not feel so all alone. Your vids and the community you have gathered to your channel have been very inspiring to me and help keep me on track. Your documentary is sorely needed! Thank you! 💕

I was on an island hopping cycle cruise in Croatia in June. There were only 20 passengers so they all knew I was carnivore from our first meal. It was great. We always started with a salad, which I didn’t touch, then pasta or some other carb, which I didn’t have, then the steak or fish etc. but because everyone else had stuffed themselves with carbs I had all the protein and fat I could ever want.

Carrie, I watched a lot of your KZbin videos now I started this because I saw Sean Parker on Joe Rogan but then I ran into you with Dr. Chafee and honest to God. It’s almost like I can’t believe it it’s unreal And learning and watching you guys has been so uplifting like a rebirth and I’m 65 years old. I want to thank you putting a word out those people that don’t listen will eventually one day you’re putting a seat in their mind I’ve told a lot of people and I let them decide on their own because I feel like I owe it to them to let them know about this, but I can’t lead a horse to water. Keep doing what you’re doing. You’re making a difference and not everybody gets to tell you that but you are changing lives! I live in Auburn, California retired and I’m eating meat and butter and eggs and bacon. Thank you again Kerry I did donate to your movie fund appointment. I love it.

I came across this one here because I've been researching Carnivore lately to combat an autoimmune disorder that I have, and at the _very least,_ you've helped me understand how important it is to not just eat meat, but make sure that meat isn't being cooked in the usual-suspect inflammatory mass-manufactured oils that cancel the benefits of eating 'A Human Diet' in the first place. Important lesson to learn; _important lesson to share._

So that all the foods would only be Carnivore approved. 😁 Activities can also include lifestyle changing meditation 🧘‍♂️ workouts and educational classes. What a great awakening on yet another level for you. You were not criticising others, you were looking at a reflection of who you once were. You did your best and experienced what it is like to relapse to the old ways. Your system is so clean now, especially after fasting, that the small amounts of bad oils and treated bacon truly affected you. You know that environment is no longer healthy for you. I get that you could go camping and cook for yourself, yet it is nice to have others do for you sometimes. (not that i have ever done a cruise). It truly was interesting to hear your feedback. ❤❤❤

I’m so grateful that you posted this video Kerry. I was beginning to think there is something wrong with me. When I see people around me (family, friends, and coworkers) suffering in so many ways, it hurts me. It hurts so much that I can’t help them. Very few of them are interested in why I’m better and no longer suffering. I can’t just tell them to change what they’re eating. They’d never listen. They make comments about my incredible will power and restraint and then ignore or dismiss when I explain there are no food/sweet cravings anymore when you make these dietary changes. They don’t listen to a thing about what I changed to heal. It’s so draining to watch them day after day slowly poisoning themselves and suffering in pain. I can see in your video how much it hurt you to watch all those people. Thank you for sharing this time with your family and your experience. I’m glad you had Bill to help you through the tough parts.*** Please consider making another video someday soon about how to better navigate daily interactions with the new view of the world that you gain when you discover this way of eating and way of living. It is somewhat isolating and it would be great to gain better perspectives on how to get through those feelings.*** Thanks Kerry!

It is so frustrating when you have found a way that makes you feel so much better and people close to you criticize what you're doing. I guess misery loves company and they want you to stay down with them instead of putting forth just a bit of effort to possibly elevate and heal themselves. 😢

@Homesteadhow my family and I just got off of NCL Encore and at every omelette and egg station. I had them wipe the pan from the last cooking and had them use pats of butter to cook my eggs/omlettes and they had no problem doing that. In the dining rooms, I was very clear that I was allergic to all vegetable, soy canola oils, and to please either grill mine with no oil at all, or to only use butter or beef tallow, and they had no problem doing that. Just FYI for any of your followers that may be going on a cruise in the near future.

I totally get what you are saying. It took me a while to change my way of thinking. And it is your way of thinking that has to change. I want to tell everyone about Carnivore but most are so embedded in their way of thinking, they will not give up their addiction much less realize they have a sugar addiction. I don't miss anything about carbs. That is due to the fact that EVERY DAY of my former life was filled with horrible pain all over my body. I was and still am highly sensitive to everything not carnivore. I'm thankful to be on the road to health. I have the same issues with anything other than cooking in butter. I feel right away when I have ingested something not carnivore. You are not alone in this.

I went on vacation in October (carnivore since February) and ate some sausage links and scrambled eggs at one hotel breakfast (it was the only option there but in retrospect I should have fasted) and within a few hours I had THE WORST muscle aches I have had in many months. The Charlie horse that started in my calf lasted 3 weeks!!! In the future I’ll stick to the Chomps I bring with me or I’ll fast. I went on a cruise many years ago and was so proud of myself for never taking the elevator the entire time. BUT I also ate bread pudding at least once a day on that cruise. And I spent 2 of the 7 days confined to my cabin with a migraine. Gee…. I wonder why?!?!?! 😂

With that said, It's great that Emma is sticking to it and you can both share that together. I just went through the Christmas dinner with my family, I'm the only one eating in a carnivore fashion at the table. I ended up eating a few things that I shouldn't've and it feels awful every time. I'm not prone to depression, but I can feel myself heading that way if I get off course like that. I can't wait for your carnivore movie. All the best to you and your family for 2024 🥩💪

Hey Kerry, I was on a submarine for plenty of 6month deployments and you work 7 days a week and 6-6-6 rotation besides the few ports. You should not be so quick to feel sorry for Emom, because the cruiseship has provided him the ability to feed his family. Also a sense of adventure. Remember that the cruise is paying him more than what he would get in his own country. We all have to start somewhere

Kerry...I totally get it. I have a Group I've started on the local Nextdoor program. I care now, like you do. It's gotta be awfully difficult for you to look around and seeing people hurting themselves and even more so, knowing what we all NOW know, to see those you love, making choices that could end their lives earlier and hurt themselves and just watch them do it. Like you said, being the "designated driver." My heart breaks for you. Carnivore - when you really get into it and you want to really help others.... your heart grows THREE TIMES THAT DAY and things like seeing others destroy themselves flat out has to hurt. I think you should be very proud of yourself for finding some joy in all that going on around you. Also, kudos to Emma for being Carnivore with you. At least you had her. That had to help, and she knows she feels better for her good choice, but being young it's gotta be tough for her so... good job girl! Random tipping....God Bless you. I teared up watching that part. That is the way I was raised, too. Minnesota Nice WAS a real thing. That made me think of the way things used to be in this country, certainly in the areas where you all are, and I was raised. Thank goodness for your big heart and how much you care, Kerry... it's rare and wonderful.

I appreciate that you shared this experience and enjoy your Carnivore content. I had a similar experience camping at at event. There were several food vendors and I watched young and old carrying huge plates of donuts, fried Oreos and other carnival foods and instead of craving, I felt bad for them. I kept thinking how all those carbs and sugar were like poison and they were doing so much harm. Then I had steak and my stomach hurt all night. There was something I didn’t want in the steak. I left the event early because I was so much to myself. I am changing my life by eating Carnivore. It truly is about healing.
