The Carnotaurus was first discovered in 1984 in Argentina. It lived in the Cretaceous Period 72-69.9 Million Years Ago. They probably used the Carnotaurus as a villain in Dinosaur, because the T.Rex is already popular enough, and wanted to show an entirely different carnivore.

I think they're babies to be honest, based on the sizes thereof, as a baby Carnotaurus would hunt insects, and yes, I'm with you.. but you do make an excellent point about them having real trouble getting up. Several times in this I'm thinking he's thinking "Oh, no, not again!" with the inability to get up from a laying down position- this's quite a story and really a very good one too, as well as quite something... you did a wonderful job with Snaggletooth's adventures in this workshop, honestly, this's one of my absolute favorites! Also, if he's a baby, it'd make sense as far as his body malfunctions about getting up again, so I'm with you there... no objections whatsoever come to think of it.

Carnotaurus has some of the largest Iblio Tibualus Muscle which helps to pull the Tubialus Thrusting the Carnotaurus upward, being part of the Albeliosauradae their Shin bone is probably lined with over 5 different Iblio Muscles Because of its proportionally minutiae Arms these Muscles have to be greatly enlarged to counter Weak forelimbs.

Technically, Carnotaurus arms were so short that they wouldn't even have touched the ground when they were laying. They wouldn't need them either to stand up again... getting one's limbs below the center of gravity before extending them would do the trick.

In real life Carnotaurus arms were so undeveloped they were tiny, clawless nubs that faced backward and had almost no range of motion. We make fun of T. rex for having tiny arms, but Carnotaurus is who even T. rex makes fun of. XD

Drew Stevens actually, tyrannosaurus Rex had larger arms than carnotaurus, as well as elbow joints. Yes carnotaurus also had elbow joints, but they were so small that carnotaurus was unable to even bend it's elbow.

Really nice animation! But the parts about Carnotaurus not being able to get up are inaccurate because carnotaur had a very stiff tail and if it was going very fast and made a sharp turn (Which actually would happen a lot) It would slip in fall, so this predator would be use to getting up a lot.
