I miss watching Carol's shows so much, I was a stay at home mom and she filled that crafty void. I can't believe that they haven't made videos of her show available on DVD. I know they would sell like hotcakes. I sure would buy them!

Thanks for this! Carol was the catalyst to a thirty year obsession with crafting! I saw her for the first time on "Home"....the first tip? Clean brass with ketchup....still using that one! Like everyone here, I miss her so much! I never missed her show. Loved when she would do her live Christmas show. Unfortunately, HGTV doesn't have any craft type shows anymore. It's all about buying, selling, or fixing up real estate. I hardly watch anymore.

I think you should bring Carol back to HGTV. So many newbie to craft world are out there and never have seen any of her stuff and wouldn't know to look at You Tube for her. I was just telling a friend about watching her back in the 90's and then I found these.

She was fired by HGTV because they said she was too old. She was in her 60s at the time. She is just turning 70 now. It was a huge controversy at the time and people were boycotting HGTV.

Carol Duvall could teach a DIY Show seminar. It would really help some of these, "Behold My Beautiy/Magnificence" numbskulls who annoy us all. She had a real genius for letting the talent shine without making it all about herself. OH HOW WE MISS YOU, Carol!
